Guys in Utah who played under him while he was an assistant say that they loved him. He's a good coach, it's just too bad a couple bad apples in Phoenix ruined it for him. Think he got screwed by the Suns IMO.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

He "overachieved" his first year but that trade last February really set them back and then injuries added to insult the last year and a half. And obviously the rift between the front office and everyone else.
I'm also in on him because he's not Rambis.

Hornacek will be the 11th different coach to be hired in the NY Area since 2010(counting both the Knicks/Nets)
Or in other words, Melo's 5th coach in his 6 years in NY.#RespectTheCultureComment

Making the baseball teams look like their owners never fired guys every day."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Dwight Q & A...the rehab of the perception/opinion of Dwight continues. Some interesting tidbits, but not sure what is believable/spin on his part.
ESPN: You mentioned your season in Houston didn't end the way you wanted. You have also admitted you were "disinterested" during parts of the year. Why was that?
Howard: "There were times I was disinterested because of situations that happened behind the scenes that really hurt me. It left me thinking, 'This is not what I signed up for.'''
ESPN: What specifically are you referring to?
Howard: "I felt like my role was being reduced. I went to [Rockets general manager] Daryl [Morey] and said, 'I want to be more involved.' Daryl said, 'No, we don't want you to be.' My response was, 'Why not? Why am I here?' It was shocking to me that it came from him instead of our coach. So I said to him, 'No disrespect to what you do, but you've never played the game. I've been in this game a long time. I know what it takes to be effective.'''
Morey declined comment.XBL & PSN: zasbury25Comment

And I HIGHLY doubt Morey said "No, we don't want you to be." Pretty obvious he's chosen to forget other important parts of the conversation and/or skewed what was actually said to what he thought Morey meant.
But a player telling the media that I said that to them, even if I did, is more reason I don't want anything to do with that player.Comment
