Why gain an advantage over your opponent when you could throw hands and be tough?

Reports of Celtics having interest in JR Smith. Don't see signing JR as a possibility given their cap number and 16 guaranteed contracts.

What a crazy situation. I get both sides but Riley is always going to come out as the scum in this and, honestly, hard to disagree with anyone that sees it that way. He's a slimy dude.

Man, I can't really say I blame him. Miami isn't going to let the dude risk his life if their doctors are worried. And Pat surely isn't going to keep him around and pay him if he can't play.

Obviously it's going to look bad, but it's kinda a no brainer.

I have no idea how Riley really handled the situation, but I'd rather be called every name in the book then to be someone who was in any way complicit with letting some risk their life in this way.

He's still going to get 75 mil from them even if they waive him. Yep they're trying to save their cap situation, and keep him from playing. IMO, it's totally worth whatever hit his reputation takes.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Apparently Deandre said if they can get him to the Clippers he'll come off the bench.

99.9% sure he was just playing around. I highly doubt CB would be able to play again, he got clots for a third time while ON blood thinners--the stuff that's supposed to stop clotting.

IF another team was willing to play him, what would have to happen?

Make a trade with Miami unless the Heat release him?

Even if the team didn't have to give the Heat compensation, wouldn't they need room in the salary cap to fit him in?

Bosh presumably would only want to play for teams which are playoffs contenders, most of whom wouldn't be able to absorb his salary.

Is the Riley hate so strong that people forget a blood clot can kill faster than a cop who feels threatened by a civilian.

I'm not saying I think Riley is wrong. I'm saying people will feel he is holding Bosh back from playing especially since Bosh keeps saying he wants to play.

I absolutely think Riley is doing the right thing.

You don't want Bosh dying on the court. The NBA should probably step in sometime soon.
