Somebody will take him on for the "veteran leadership". He won't be out of a job unless he decides he's not playing anymore.

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Is it just me, or would Noah be perfect on a young team as a backup veteran big man. He'd be a perfect fit in Utah behind Gobert and Favors while playing beside Lyles, but I don't know how much money he is going to command.
Charlotte, Houston, and Dallas would be good spots for him too if he wants a more prominent role, though.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Part of me wouldn't mind him in Portland but he'd probably ask for a lot of money and I'd rather spend big money on Whiteside or horford then. Big plot twist him and LBJ become friends and he signs with the cavs.

. He is the rim protector they need though, assuming he can still do that effectively.

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
I'd like to see Noah and Horford team up again and join a team like the Celtics.
In other news, The Grizzlies offered Miami assistant David Fizdale their head coaching job. The two sides are working on a deal, so it sounds like it's going to happen. Fizdale has been an assistant with the Heat since 2008-09 as coach Erik Spoelstra's top man. He's likely going to utilize a similar plan with a slower tempo most of the time.
I'm personally happy for him. A lot of teams barely gave him a shot during the LeBron era whereas many teams tend to reach out to the assistants of top teams (e.g., Alvin Genry, Dwayne Casey, Luke Walton, etc). I read Spo helped him prepare the night before the interview so it seems the Heat coaching staff are thrilled. Anyway would've liked him on a younger team as I think he'll be better suited but nonetheless wish him all the best!Comment

I tryed to be a smartass, what a failure. Anyway how healthy Noah even is ? Can he be a starter for a whole season again ? Be there for you in the playoffs ? I'd take him any day in L.A. if he was healthy. I'd take him over Byombo easily.Last edited by Vni; 05-26-2016, 01:18 AM.Comment

"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
