I'm still a fan of Kyrie, but has he always been this bad of a distributor? Or is it a product of his environment?Comment

His AST% has gone down each year he's been in the league from 36% to currently 26%(was at 25% last year).#RespectTheCultureComment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
I think he likely never wanted LeBron to be there and the team not be his honestly.
And I think LeBron is actually pushing for him to be more "the guy", but Kyrie right now doesn't have the instincts to do that. It just leads to bad shots, lack of movement, all to go along with some average-ish defense.
I think he tries to hard to be a scorer at times. Far too often it looks like he's used a full quarters worth of energy on just two trips up the court, I can't see that ever being effective.Comment

It could very well be the situation he's in, maybe it hurt his growth in that dept...but dude can barely make an entry pass..even when he's in a lineup surrounded by shooting by himself he's not playing the distributor role...
He's waaaaay too talented man, jusy want to see him grow, even if that means leavingComment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Apparently Knicks and Nets both trying real hard to get a 1st round pick.
Too bad Knicks won't ever trade with Ujiri again. Knowing Ujiri, he'd probably find some way to get Porzingis out of NY for the 9th,27th,Wright and Ross.
Only person from Nets I'd really want would be RHJ. And don't think they'd deal him away in any kind of deal where the main return is something like a late 1st and/or Wright.
Just wanted some unbiased opinions from people here, what kind of F do people think could be had if the return is the 9th pick in this years draft + Delon Wright(20th pick last year,3rd highest WS/48 among qualified rookies) + Terrence Ross.Comment

Where'd you hear the Nets were trying real hard to get a 1st round pick from?
Last update I heard from that was they were trying to get another 2nd and that was around 9pm today.#RespectTheCultureComment

It doesn't flat out say 1st round pick, but how many teams, especially weeks before the draft, try to aggressively acquire at least one 2nd round pick? You'd just have to think it'd be a 1st.Comment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
How many teams never have any draft picks though? Lol
But that doesn't mean he's looking for a 1st. Could very easily be looking for a high 2nd(which is what I've heard from other writers who follow the Nets)which isn't much different than a late 1st rd pick anyway considering the talent that's available at that point.#RespectTheCultureComment

Yeah, cant speak for the Nets although I'd assume they're the same, the Knicks have been working guys out and trying to get into the second round for a little while now.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

The Knicks are pursuing a 2nd rounder, all the guys they've been working out are second round projections."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
