"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Hawks-Sixers Trade in the works
Depending on who else would be involved, sounds like a good deal for both teams. Sixers get a young, veteran All Star PG in Teague while Atlanta gets a guy in Noel who still has upside and a good backup plan if Horford leaves as well.
Doesn't his contract end this year, or maybe it's next year? Kinda curious why they would trade someone with potential for a guy who probably won't stay.. It's a good move roster wise, but I actually thought Smith was good enough considering how lacking they are at 2&3..
I think swapping for a young guy who's proven as a scorer, Jordan Clarkson for example, would be a better move.. Would/should make them more comfortable drafting a guy like Simmons as well.Comment

Clarkson is a RFA and all indications are that he plans to re-sign in LA.
But yeah, Smith is what he is and easily replaceable talent so if you got a chance to acquire a top 5-10(he's in the 5-8 range for me personally)PG, you jump on it.
Of course this also means you better hope Embiid shows you something this year otherwise you might have traded the wrong big man. They also have Sakic coming over this year as well.#RespectTheCultureComment

Why are you so defensive? I didn't quote you or specifically respond to you. My comment was in response to the national media trying to create a story because they want something to discuss."Ma'am I don't make the rules up. I just think them up and write em down". - Cartman
