What can they get from anyone from Kevin Love right now I wonder. They'd be selling about as low as possible. I'd think Kyrie might be a better look, he's the less compatible with LeBron one in my mind.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Exactly. Love would probably play way better as the #2 option with LeBron. I would shop Kyrie if I was Cleveland, he can be a teams primary scoring option and would net a better return in a trade than Love would.

I highly doubt it's that easy to ship Love/Kyrie, this isn't 2k.Comment

I'm curious to see the numbers for what the Cavs looked like with Love when Kyrie was out to start the season vs. how they looked once he returned.#RespectTheCultureComment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Kyrie probably is a franchise PG.. Just not on a team where he can't have the ball all the time. He completely negates everything LeBron is great at because once the ball hits his hands you can forget about the extra kick. Which means bye bye to all the secondary assists LeBron-led offenses are accustomed too, and bye bye to the quick entry or roll passes that even Rio could give so LeBron had a 1 on 1 matchup.
I know he's old and often injured, but Kyrie for CP3 straight up makes pretty solid sense for both sides. If Cleveland really wants to win now.
Melo for Love doesn't make sense for either side IMO.. Millsap for Love would be a great move for Cleveland, and dropping Mozgov this off season and picking up Cole Aldrich would be a good move as well.
But none of that is happening.. They're keeping the Kyrie/LeBron/Love trio I'm sure.. Theoretically, they never should have traded Wiggins (like a lot of us said) to begin with.

Like OJ said, he's not a franchise PG with LeBron James on the team, their styles clash really badly. That's becoming more and more evident. He's young though and he can change, but he needs to do it by next season or he could get traded midseason IMO.Comment

I'm not sure why the Clippers would rather have Kyrie than CP3, CP3 is basically the perfect fit for their offense...or any offense, he's the perfect PG lol.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Actually I think a solid trade could be Conley + 1st round pick for Irving. Conley would be a much better PG to play alongside LeBron than current Irving.
Plus it gives Memphis a potential franchise player and much needed offense. Win/win for both teams IMO.Last edited by cima; 06-07-2016, 07:44 PM.Comment

Too bad they can't get Conley though. As they don't have any cap space and he is a FA.
