Apparently, he's supposed to be watching from a suite in the arena where the A's play, which is literally right next to oracle. I just don't buy it. It's so close that it just becomes silly to do that.

So on this day 19 years ago, Steve Kerr hit a game winner and won his second NBA title with the Bulls. Would be pretty nice little deal for the coach to get another one tonight.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
I keep waiting for LeBron to take over. I mean, I don't get it. He is getting down near the basket with ease.
I don't watch as much regular season basketball as I used to, is this just how he is now? I've never seen him so passive and reluctant. I saw a glimpse in game 3 when he sped past Klay and went for the dunk... Only to have Green reject it.
I have no more excuses for LeBron, put up or shut up.
ALL he did was take it to the hole vs Tor and now when he really needs his jumper to mix it up and keep em honest, it's nowhere to be found.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Lol oh Kyrie. Just read an article on just how bad his defense is.
If Irving is a good offensive player, but his overall impact (as measured by RPM) is negative, how do we put that into perspective?
Irving's offensive RPM is 2.0, tied for 12th in the league among point guards. That might not rate him as highly as his fans and his skill set would, but it's still an indication of a solid contribution on that end of the floor.
But his defensive RPM is an abysmal minus-3.2, which ranks 83rd among the 85 point guards measured.
Why does his defensive RPM make him look even worse than the box score?
RPM uses adjusted plus-minus data to estimate the impact of each player on his team's net points per 100 possessions, taking into account teammates, opponents and other factors. In other words, RPM reveals whether players excel at doing the little things.
And Irving doesn't.Comment

He can't just do it (beat the top team/win it all) on driving alone....like JVG said. (Unless he gets some serious help from the refs, that is)
ALL he did was take it to the hole vs Tor and now when he really needs his jumper to mix it up and keep em honest, it's nowhere to be found.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
I rember that first big game he has against I believe it was Detroit.
The media immediately ran to Jordan like, Do you think LeBron is on the same level as you are? Did you see what he did to the Pistons?
MJ told them you have to see if he can do it night in and night out. I know he was definitely hinting at the longevity and the mental aspect of the game.
After Game 4 MJ was probably looking at his big screen like
