Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2

ESPN app. on my iPhone popped a notification:

"Must-see video: Steph Curryloses his cool after fouling out and getting ejected, throws mouthpiece that strikes a fan."

If the Warriors win Sunday, Cavs are going to be saying NBA rigged it for the Warriors by not suspending Curry.

      Gotta keep that up.

It's what their offense has been missing. Using their 3 point proficiency to get easy shots inside whether it's off the dribble or using movement off ball to free up cuts to the basket.

If Barnes wasn't a young corpse out there, and assistant coach Kerr would stop with his template lineups maybe someone else would?

Either way, LeBron James has been incredible, and Stephen Curry & Klay Thompson have had their moments as well, but isn't this series such a great testament to how much of a role an entire team plays when it comes to winning a ring? As in, if James pulls this off, it'll always be remembered as "his" championship, but we darn well better never forgot what a dude like Tristan Thompson brought to the table, or Kyrle's nastiness.
I guess what I'm saying is mix up the coverage. Since they are playing small maybe a trap here. And then some zone to protect Curry. Because obviously trying to "hidden" him on JR just isn't working. They keep finding him on those pick and roll switches.

I'm little worried about Kyrie with that toe. He wasn't aggressive as he was in the last 3 games in the second half.

ah okay lol. Also this is Curry's 1st time so suspending him would be dumb to do it now.

lol man I'm not even being serious.

I'm just trying to fit in.

What do you suggest his starting lineup for game 7 should be?

            JR daughter hahaha!

Just caught Kerr's comments. He definitely knew what he was doing there. Textbook next-game seed planting.

I'm sure he's truly upset with the officiating, but the way he made sure to bring up the juxtaposition of how Klay and Steph can be held and grabbed while running off screens while Steph's picking up ticky tack fouls at the other end was totally by design (regardless of whether it's an accurate assessment or not). That was a "I will gladly pay a $25,000 fine in hopes of influencing the way Game 7 is officiated" situation.

OJ will be out of jail before Harrison Bricks hits another open jumpshot.

I don't know I mean coming back from down 3-1 would be impressive but if you won a championship with out your 2nd and 3erd best players would be crazy to and I thought it was impressive they even won 2 last year with out those 2 lol.

I'm not sure they can even call holds and bumps against Curry because that's all he does anytime someone is close enough for him to do it. It's never called because he's very clever/sneaky and it has little impact because his size, but you can't just start calling all those and then not call them on Curry when LeBron sets a screen on him and he's grabbing and wedging his arms up into him and his jersey.

You know Barnes is going to have a great game Sunday and get his max contract from some sucker team.

I'm not personally disputing the way the game was called.

I'm saying Steve Kerr knew what he was doing in his postgame presser. If he earned his squad even one call that works in their favor next game, his little rant would be a success.

Man, do I even want to be here for game 7? We might as well have a thread just for it.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

James has been great the last 2 games though and is clearly out playing Curry right now and Golden state is with out maybe 2 players now because of injures. Really though I have like no clue lol. How many people where saying its over when Golden state where down 3-1 vs Thunder? How many people even had this getting to game 7 after Golden state was up 3-1 like 4 days ago? lol

I think Kerr try either 2 lines ups. He either sticks with the small ball. And pulls Barnes earlier for Leonardo if he struggles. Or he starts Eze and matches up with TT and Love.
