Yup, he wanted to play in the Olympic qualifier and they shut that down and then he wanted to play in Summer League and they shot that down too.

I really dislike when teams don't let their players play for their country. It's an awesome experience for them.

Isn't it still ultimately the player's decision though?

The way he worded his statement, I like to think they told him "Well sure you can go play in the qualifiers...but you'll be losing tons of valuable training time here" and he just chose the option of training with the team. It's especially important for him with needing to put on weight and get his conditioning up so it's probably best for both sides that he sits this one out. He can play in 2020 or even 2024 if he wants maybe, he's young.

Not that I don't agree with you. But you never know what the future holds. 2020 is far far away. Things can happen .

Also Ben Simmons at it again

Got to add. I really hope Justin Anderson can bring it all together. He's one of those players on my "I hope they are successful" list.

And this guy has basically locked his spot on a roster I think. If not, a team will sign him.

I have such weird feeling about this guy. You can see the talent. He just looks awkward at times.

Hey, not my fault if you guys have like 5 different time zones. Fix your mess. I cut the bull**** and just left the schedule though.

Jaylen Brown has looked pretty decent but Rozier is really standing out. It's summer league but even in a crowded backcourt he could be a nice rotation player.

                            Is he vertically challenged?

Looks like he barely was able to get to that even after the jump off of both feet.

The ball bounced on the rim twice which threw off the timing on his finish.
