Not many real Detroit fans talk alot of smack. Just be happy that you're represented by such a class organization, and stop acting like such a little tool. I too think the Pistons are again the class of the NBA, but stop being so obnoxious...the Pistons are an injury away from being mediocre...Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Re: A new rivalry brewing...
Guess what HMmcCoy?
The Pistons are the defending champs! End of story!
Maybe those other teams can grow up and maybe become a real threat sometime. Untill then, the NBA better get those "Back to Back" rings ready.Comment

But going back to the Bulls Championship:
The Indiana Pacers were 6 points away from knocking the godly Bulls team out of the playoffs.
The Jazz were one non-call away from a Game 7, with momentum on their side in the Delta Center from an NBA ring.
Granted, the Bulls were the better team, but you can't say that the Pacers and Jazz weren't a threat to them.
In 2000, the Lakers had to crawl back from a 15 point 4th quarter whole to get to the Finals. And the Pacers didn't lay down in the Finals either.
In 2002, the epic series, Lakers vs. Kings was a VERY close series. Both Laker teams had threats, even if they did win the Championship.
So you're telling me, that a Detroit team, which squeezed by a Nets team (with their Floor General in need of surgery) and got by a Pacers team who's primary offensive weapon was playing on one leg, had no threats? That's not even bringing the power houses out West into the equationComment
