The Pistons in the 2002-03 season made Celtic history by murdering the Celtics beating them by 52 points. LOL!

When the Pacers thought the Pistons were no match when they were up 3-0 against them, what happened? Oh, they lost by 18 points on their last game!

The Pistons can walk on anyone.

'Sheed wasn't healthy eaither. How come anyone isn't talking about that?

Messed up foot and a messed up back. And if Kidd was healthy, the nets would have still lost, because the Nets can only score against sloppy play, and when Detroit played clean, the series was out of reach.

You can stop making excuses now, because the Pistons were going to win regardless.

                However, Back on Topic, lol.

The Celtics/Cavaliers rivalry will heat up this year, and hopefully will continue to travel with them as each year goes by. Their needs to be more rivalries in the new NBA.

I can see quite a few technicals being called when the two meet up this season.

'Sheed wasn't doing much? He had a couple of big games including a huge 26 point case of destruction all over Slava and Cook. Not to mention on defense, he was making Kobe's life hell on the double team off the pick becaues Slava didn't know how to play the pick and roll. The other Wallace dropped 18 and 22 in that last game, no body had the body to match him.

Don't get me wrong, the Pistons were the best team in the NBA since they did win the championship, but in my opinion the Wolves or Spurs would have taken them out (they match up better with the Pistons). And healthy Malone would have made the series much closer. Not saying Malone wouldn't automatically equal a Laker championship, but it sure as hell wouldn't have been a "5 game sweep." And a healthy J Kidd would have definetly helped the the Nets get over the Pistons (they did go 7 games, right?).

Again, the Pistons were the best basketball team last year, but in my opinion are not head and shoulders over all the other teams, which is what you are kind of saying.

These arent real rivalries. This seems more like a marketing ploy to draw more interest than it being a rivalry. Most rivalries have history behind it, important games, not preseason garbage.

They come from heated game battles, and playoff battles, championship game battles, not from a guy stealing a ball and dunking it and then hollering at someone afterwards, and not this fake Kobe Ray Allen trash.

the man does have a point. The real rivalries in the past were team v. team, not player v. player. Celtics v. Lakers, Knicks v. Heat/Pacers/Bulls, Pistons/Bulls. While you could say it was Larry v. Magic, the reality is that both teams as a whole hated one another.
