Phoenix bringing back old school bball back

I know the season is still early, but the Suns look impressive. Like I posted in the Phoenix thread, these guys are pushing the ball, setting picks, RUNNING PLAYS and playing like the teams of the 80's and 90's.

If you watch old games on NBATV and international games, this is the way the game is supposed to be played. The reason why we lost the olympics and why we average 90 points per game per team is because of the way the NBA plays halfcourt, one on one offense these days. If the Suns keep playing the game this way, they'll bring back those days of 100+ points per game again.

I wasn't a Phoenix fan before, but watching these guys the past two games, I love the way these guys play.

its better then having a thread about chris mihm, besides the other thread is in the phoenix suns section, and not everyone is going to check that
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Ainge is trying to build the Celts in that frame, but the Suns are doing a great job. They have such a balanced attack and they can hurt you in so many ways. Theyve got quickness and inside toughness which is just ideal

            The dynasty will return

The Raptors are also playing an old school style of ball by running up and down the court while still being able to play some good defense. It's good to see more teams trying to bring back an exciting brand of basketball.

I think its a product of the coaching, as well as the great players we signed in the offseason I wasnt a fan of D'Antoni really, but apparently things seem to be going pretty good. I dont want to jinx anything, so I wont say anything. I just wish I could watch our games, man. I want to see them running and hustling. I want to see them come off picks and drive. I want to see them play basketball the way it was meant to be played. Oh well, the Lakers/Suns games I get in LA and the national games will have to be enough.

i saw about half of the game tonight and it was great. Plenty of easy baskets, everybody sharing the ball. The chemistry is great, for now, and hopefully it remains that way because this is a contract season for joe johnson (and amare if i'm not mistaken). At first i thought the signing of q. richardson was a bad call because i thought he and joe johnson would feud over playing time, but that has not been the case. Amare has really impressed me. I saw him catch and shoot from about 15 feet and it was nothing but net. He has improved his free throws, and he could be like garnett. I just want him to refine his post game and work on his range. also i want him to bring down around 12 boards a game. Yeah this is quite a bit to ask, but i think he has great potential, and this is only his 3rd year out, so he should really be a junior in college. I'm so glad we made this pick, it gives us a good inside-outside option. However, shawn marion needs to work on his shot or something. I haven't seen him much in the past but he was missing quite a few shots, but he does everything else well enough. This team has good depth, and that helps so that we don't tire out while running because this team runs well, and creates turnovers. I think we will be like the mavs but with a low post option and better d. We will see how the season turns out, but so far it is looking good.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.
