Re: Phoenix bringing back old school bball back

They exercised Amare's contract option so he's not a FA after this year.

And yes, we sound like the Mavs, but the thing is, we're the Mavs with defense. Amare and Shawn are damn good defenders. Nash is quick and able to keep up, and the combination of Joe Johnson and Q at the 2 guard is good enough on defense. Keep in mind that while Hunter isnt a good or great C by any means, he still gets a lot of blocks, and thats gonna be useful. Like I said earlier, Voskuhl hustles so much, so I dont have to worry about his contributions. It's gonna come down to guys like Lampe, Vroman, Hunter, Zarko, and Barbosa to see where this team will fall in the West.

didn't hear about that, but he is going to be asking for a big paycheck along with joe johnson. We may have to trade shawn marion.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

I think Shawn Marion should be traded myself. What does he do that Quentin Richardson can't do?

                You're joking, right?

Marion is more athletic than Richardson, he's a better shooter, and he's one of the league's top defenders.

Marion is a career 46% FG shooter. Richardson is a career 41% shooter.

Honestly they really don't even compare. Marion is on a higher level than Richardson.

Re: Phoenix bringing back old school bball back

Going on my fifth year living in Tucson, the Suns are my adopted second team(I'm originally from Chicago, so my main team will always be the Bulls). I absolutely agree with the above posters in that I love the way this team plays. I had rooted for them before this year, but them adding one of my favorite players, Steve Nash, as well as someone I went to four years of high school with, Quentin Richardson, only increased and cemented my fandom. I look forward to following them more closely for the rest of the year.
I drive a 2005 Toyota Prius Gas/Electric Hybrid. My last tank was 53.6 miles/gallon. Gas prices fear me!

Oversimplification is the escape of men who want to avoid the duty demanded by true understanding.

the only reason i would is if we could get a quality center in return or save up some cap space to resign joe johnson, i'm not quite sold on his shot yet, because i haven't watched him too much. But if he is a career 46 percent shooter then thats pretty good.

Nah, Im not joking at all. I dont think there is a difference in how athletic they are, but Quentin Richardson is the better 3-point shooter. Marion's 3 point % isnt very good.
