Haha I remember them implementing that rule because of Barkley.

I didn't know who or what he is, but he did lift it from the official.nba.com document that included the 5 second rule violation.Comment

Oh man, the Vin Baker isolation offense. Everyone else to the ride side of the floor, Baker to his strong side, the left side, Vin Baker backs down, backs down and is hacked because he is a 60% or less FT shooter.
Boring offense.
I don't recall the last time it was called, either.Comment

LeBron was called for it, I don't remember how long ago that's been.

This times one hundred. Watching guards do it always annoyed me much more than watching big men. Nobody wanted to watch a guard back away for 15 seconds and take 35 dribbles lol.
Magic when he was old, Mark Jackson, Terry Porter, Gary Payton.. worst of all time might have been Barkley once he hit Houston. Just bang away because it all he had left lol.
Andre Miller and Sam Cassell always did a great job of using their "post" or back down abilities without hanging on to the ball forever. Quick moves that didn't leave their backs to the basket for long periods of time, much more appealing to watch. Chris Paul does it from time to time, Jason Kidd too.

Re: 1/3 - 1/9 Games Discussion Thread
The league gotta look at some of these three shot fouls that Harden gets. He just jumps in the air when someone's arm is too close and pretends he was gonna shoot. If they wanna call a foul, that's fine, but no way it should be a shooting foul. They should treat it like the rip-thru foul.

For whatever reason, he's blessed and gets a lot of calls, often initiating the contact with his arms.Comment

Re: 1/3 - 1/9 Games Discussion Thread
I'm fine with most of the calls Harden gets but some of the three shot fouls are so ridiculous and he seems to be going to it more often this year. It took them a while to fix the call on KD's rip through move, so I'm still hoping they fix this one

Sometimes we over think our offense. Occasionally it's just best to throw Iso Joe on the block and let him work.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment
