Real talk though....Warriors got LeBron shook. He know they would have won last year if Draymond wasn't an idiot. Then they go get KD and my man been on edge since. Creating uproars over Phil Jackson, taking personal shots at Chuck over doing his job, coming for the GM that made every move he lobbied for in the media along with the owner who's shelling out record money for the team. The Warriors are in that man's head.Comment

Anytime an Athlete goes personal in public about another athlete(current or former)in any sport, always going to be a thing. KG/Melo and KG/Villenueva are two examples of that.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 1/24 - 1/30 Games Discussion Thread
This is all bull**** OJ. Being 100 with you.
A) Going into the year even after the Warriors got KD, it didn't stop cocky Cavs fans and LeBron himself and the rest of the Cavs from rubbing their championship in the Warriors' faces and talking big about repeating with that same damn roster. Even when they beat the Warriors on Christmas, the 3-1 jokes and the Cavs having the Warriors number talk was rolling. Now all of a sudden the Cavs don't have enough to beat them?
B) There's no team in the league that's poised to make a title run if a key starter gets injured, so the Cavs aren't in some unique position.
C) What exactly is the front office supposed to do to fix all those issues you mentioned? They have the highest payroll in the history of the NBA, they're currently sitting at a $129 million dollar payroll and a $54 million dollar luxury tax bill. If Kyrie goes down tomorrow what are they supposed to trade Kevin Love to get somebody to replace him? What exactly are they supposed to be doing to overhaul their bench in January?
B.) I never acted like any team losing a starter wasn't just as equally a big deal. But not every team is competing for a championship. They've proved they can whether the storm and at least make it interesting with as little as what someone like Delly offered. But they don't have that, they don't have a guy to make plays, they don't have a guy to run the pick and roll with TT/Love when Kyrie sits, the don't have another play maker on the team. And they're injured.
C.) Highest paid roster in league history only means their expectation is championship or bust. That's exactly the ****ing point. Why spend all that damn money, be that much over the luxury tax, only to have a massive hole to fill? They don't need an overhaul, they just need a competent back up guard. I don't know how much of Shump/Liggins you've watched trying to run the back up point spot, but it's ugly. They're not pointmen.
As for how do they fix it, I don't King that's why I'm not an NBA GM. All I did was post what LeBron actually said and explained how it was true. I didn't claim I was the league miracle worker to fix it all. I do know they have an empty roster spot, and loads of money in trade exceptions.Comment

Re: 1/24 - 1/30 Games Discussion Thread
Idk how someone can get in a argument with Barkley and end up making themselves look like the *******, but Bron really managed to pull it off. I usually like players firing back at the media but this was such a weak attempt from him. There are so many ways to discredit Chuck, that it's strange to see someone as smart as Bron go at it in this way. Then, that sheriff comment. Lol. This guy can be so lame sometimes.

A.) They don't have the same roster, that's the point.
Stop it. Yes they do. The core of that roster is the exact same. The only difference is Delly isn't there and he's trash anyway. As much of a problem you have with exaggerations you and acting like Delly would be this grand savior of the Cavs needs to stop.
B.) I never acted like any team losing a starter wasn't just as equally a big deal. But not every team is competing for a championship. It sucks that they have to deal with injuries, but that's sports. Nobody was trying to hear nothing about injuries when Bogut went down for the Warriors in the Finals. Beyond that, the guys that are hurt will be back for the playoffs and a Finals run once they get there since we already know they're going to coast through the Eastern conference as usual.

So do you see why people are giving LeBron **** for bitching publicly yet? Why spend all that money? Cause LeBron's crying *** wanted it. He went through the media and every damn mountain top he could scream from to make it known he wanted Tristan to get paid. He wanted Shump to get paid. He wanted JR to get paid. He wanted his own max. Everything he let the organization know he needed to win, they provided and now because another team made a big move he's flipping out about the money he wanted them to spend? That's ridiculous OJ.

Re: 1/24 - 1/30 Games Discussion Thread
This time last year Bron was 'jealous of Steph', 'obsessed with the Warriors' and came away with the title- aint no 'ifs' in the record books.
Maybe a mid season breakdown is just a part of the process at this point?Comment

But the Cavs should know by now that the regular season is basically useless to them. It's going to cost them some games sure but his minutes should go right back down to where it was last year. They're going to **** on the East as usual in the playoffs with the starters getting big minutes and end up in the Finals regardless. It doesn't matter what seed they are.
The whole "they need another player because the Warriors got better" angle never made sense to me. Is that backup PG they picked up off the waiver wire closing the talent gap that the Warriors have with KD? Really?
Their best shot is to prioritize keeping their guys healthy right now.. Because they've got the most capable 5 man lineup in the NBA to take down GSW.Comment

So Charles Barkley is scheduled to be a guess on the Waddle and Silvy Show here in Chicago today at 3. If y'all wanna hear his response to LeBron cause I'm sure they'll ask him about it. You can listen live here later.
http://www.espn.com/chicago/radio/
Here you go
Barkley went on the Waddle & Silvy show on ESPN1000.com and answered back. Here are his comments, via Rachel Nichols of ESPN.
Charles Barkley on ESPN Radio right now, calls LeBron "whiny" again but says he is not going to "get personal" the way he says LeBron did.
— Rachel Nichols (@Rachel__Nichols) January 31, 2017
"Clearly he Googled me and found out some things"
(tho first Barkley asked 'what's it called when you go on the internet & look things up?')
— Rachel Nichols (@Rachel__Nichols) January 31, 2017
Barkley: "This notion that we have to be friends – we're never going to be friends."
Says the young generation "always takes it personally."
— Rachel Nichols (@Rachel__Nichols) January 31, 2017
Barkley asked on ESPN's @WaddleandSilvy show about sitting down w/LeBron "Why I got to clear the air? It's not going to change my opinion."
— Rachel Nichols (@Rachel__Nichols) January 31, 2017
On LeBron bringing up that he once threw someone through a window: "We were on the 1st floor. I told the judge I wish it was the 3rd floor"

Not in the sense of what the people here make it out to be. He's only elaborating on his teams one major weak point, everyone here is acting like he's saying his entire team is trash and that he needs a roster composed of himself and 12 other all stars.Comment

Pretty much. There's always some sort of mid point drama with them that seems pointless by the time the playoffs roll around.

Re: 1/24 - 1/30 Games Discussion Thread
For the record I have no issue with what Chuck said. That's what makes Chuck who he is and why we all like him. I just don't have any issue with LeBron saying something back after 7 years of people ridiculing everything he says and does either.
Why Wade butted in, idk about that. Doesn't really seem like his business and nothing he said gives reason for Chuck to not be able to do his job. Who cares what Chuck did in the past when it doesn't effect his job as one of the TNT crew.
