Re: 2017 Western Conference Playoffs - 1st Round Discussion Thread
Man you know good and well they haven't turned on him.
His beef with that one reporter is nothing.
They printed an article in OKC with KD on the front page calling him mr unreliable.
Betcha they're scared as crap to offend westbrook like that right now.
LeBron knows what its like to get trashed in the media so he left Cleveland.... but there's alot of butt kissing right now.
The wolves will definitely come if things remain the same.
Gimme a couple mins, I pull up some stuff from some years back when he was catching ****. The Triple Doubles just "quieted" the noise for now, lol#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2017 Western Conference Playoffs - 1st Round Discussion Thread
They need a legit primary or secondary option who you can stagger minutes with Westbrook so the offense doesn't go to ****. And a backup point guard.
George Hill wouldn't be a bad fit since can spot up off the ball but also create his own shots. He and Westbrook are both big enough to play the two nowadays. That's a lot of money for Hill, though.

Re: 2017 Western Conference Playoffs - 1st Round Discussion Thread
If he repeats these stats next year, with no other player having a season like that that, and his team has close to the same record, does he win MVP again?Last edited by dubcity; 04-26-2017, 12:42 PM.Comment

He's eligible to sign a $220 Mil extension this summer.
He'd be the boldest athlete I know if he were to turn down that much money(his endorsements ain't getting him that much) especially since he can't get that anywhere else.

Ouch. I don't even know what kind of moves they can make to start to fix this during the offseason.

That was the original intent of the CBA, to entice players to stay where they are... i dont think it will work 100 percent of the time though.Comment

Re: 2017 Western Conference Playoffs - 1st Round Discussion Thread
The last one didn't work and that was only with a $30 Mil difference. That's a number that can be made up(depending on what you move).
$75-80 Mil...that's not easy to make just make up unless Mountain Dew is paying him that much. I don't even his Shoes move that well or nowhere near what guys like Harden and Durant move. I don't even know who the biggest mover on the Jordan Brand is right now? Maybe Melo or Blake?#RespectTheCultureComment

I thought Russ signed an extension this summer.

Re: 2017 Western Conference Playoffs - 1st Round Discussion Thread
I'd say Melo sells better because he actually has his own line. CP3 is probably ahead too. I dunno what Blake has, he's the poster boy for the Super.Fly but that isn't much, Westbrook has a lifestyle line but nothing on court, although he does wear a 30/31 hybrid, those aren't for sale I don't think.
Definitely not enough for him to leave town although if he wins MVP I'm sure he'll pick up a few new sponsors. I heard Pepsi need guys.

I hope some dudes dumb headline at the Oklahomian that he ended up apologising for isn't what we're labeling as 'turning on' KD is it?
There had to be something else right? LolLast edited by The 24th Letter; 04-26-2017, 05:51 PM.Comment
