Opting in means he gets it though does it not? He let them know he was going to sign with the Rockets, so he opted in to get his money and they traded him.

While this may be true, it also needs to be noted that GS gets those plays because of their three-balling. They move the ball well, have players who will move well, but in large part it all opens up because teams are forced to over play everything, forced to switch or even double every ball screen, forced to run out at everyone on the court.

The point being teams like Houston and Cleveland who are equally dangerous bombing teams cannot efficiently generate the same layups that GSW does. That is a flaw in their respective team attacks.

Paul to Rockets?! Didn't expect that. I fully expected the Spurs to make a run at him trading away LMA.

I feel Jerry West did this, and it was a solid move -- they got assets back for a player who was leaving.

I would expect Blake Griffin to leave LA. He's won't be seeing any success with the Clippers now and Sam Dekker, Lou Williams, Patrick Beverly and a 2018 1st rounder sure won't be convincing enough to stay. Reddick is gone, too, almost assuredly and the rebuild in LAC is on. I wouldn't be surprised to see Doc Rivers resign, either -- he hates rebuilds.
