It was already bad enough.. I can't imagine how it will be now. And obviously I'm going to be watching Bron, I'm dreading that.

So if you're the Cavs, do you still try and primarily trade for a PG now or do you try and trade for a different position?

I think backup center is the main need. I feel their main issue was their bench last year. Williams, Shump, Williams, Frye weren't cutting it and they couldnt score when Kyrie and LeBron was off the court.
I like the Jeff Green signing, Jose Col. could be a solid backup. I think at best they could hope for Rose is last year. If he can stay healthy and provide 15-4 a game that could be a great signing. For Rose, this is a prove it year. He is still only 28. Can he embrace a lower role and not be the alpha. They need a solid defending and rebounding big.

But if your asking if they trade Kyrie do you still trade for a starting PG, I definitely think so. It is one thing to hope he can repeat the numbers he did last year as a starter, but it is hard to trust that he can stay healthy.

All I know is the 3 team rumors of Cleveland losing Kyrie and Love in return for Bledsoe and Melo are absolutely horrible moves for Cleveland. If they can get an upgrade at SG and strengthen the bench with that move then sure, go for it. But otherwise losing those 2 just to gain the other 2 would likely not even be a lateral move. They would be significantly worse.

According to Windhorst (so probably not true at all) the Suns would be willing to include Josh Jackson and a pick with Bledsoe in a trade for Kyrie..

Now that would be interesting. Not sure how the cap situation works but Cavs biggest weakness is a back up big, or just a defensive big in general. I would try to work Tyson Chandler into that mix somehow.

Is that quote from Road Trippin? That podcast is so good man, I didn't think professional sports players would be so honest about the day to day as they are.

Kyrie tired of being held hostage by LeBron basically.

What? Lol that's what you took from that? He's not really being held hostage anyways. He was a Cav regardless of LeBron coming back or not. The only thing LeBron has brought back to the franchise and Kyrie is for chances to win a championship. Sure it changes the landscape of things going forward, because they are definitely going to be in win now mode for however long LeBron can still be LeBron. There isn't a reason they shouldn't be. But I don't blame Kyrie at all for wanting some sort of stability if what RJ said is true. But he's definitely not being "held hostage".. whatever that is even supposed to mean.

Dame, who has been mentioned as a guy who's position Kyrie wants to be in, doesnt seem to see Kyries angle.

Guess the grass is always greener.

RJ makes some great points though, I dont blame Kyrie doing whats best for him.

I definitely get it from a stability standpoint. LeBron coming back sort of papered over the cracks that have been in the organisation for a long time. People don't realize, or they may not, that we were in a long term rebuild before LeBron became available. The fast-track from being a 30 win team to being a contender means we've loaded up the roster with older players on huge contracts. Then you have issues like Griff being let go, the owner seeming to sabotage everything and the likelihood that Ty Lue won't even be here after next summer, I can sort of see why he wants out. IF that's the reason. But as far as wanting a bigger role and other stuff that was talked about I don't see it. He's the main guy on the offensive end for us and the guy who has the ball in his hands for the last play. Nobody can win on their own either, although LeBron has done a damn good job of trying in 2007 and 2015.
