None of you have proven Steph as a worthy defender. All I know is he avoids checking the opposing point guard and when he does they usually score.

What do you think is the role of the guard who is getting screened in a pick and roll situation?

You've said things like he can't guard a pick and role and was exposed in pick and role when Green and Bogut went out... have talked about it many times. So before I just say it's clear you don't really understand how defense works, I'd like to hear what you think Curry's role is in these situations, and if possible, how your video or the 2016 championship displayed how horrible of a defender he was based on these examples.

I'm not sure it's been said yet but people around here say all the time that nobody really cares about man to man defense for point guards. The vast majority of these dudes would cook each other. How many point guards do we consider good defenders in the league? How many of them are going to lock up Steph or Kyrie one on one? None.

I say this because dude said at the beginning the Steph is decent off ball and bad on ball, and then posted an article explaining why it doesn't matter that he's bad on ball. He does what he needs to do. Nobody is saying Steph is the Glove or Clyde Frazier.

I don't think anyone thinks he's a top perimeter defender, but being a lesser defender than Klay doesn't make you a bad defender. It's not about absolutes. It's not either you're an amazing defender or you are a garbage defender. You can be a B or C defender and contribute.

So far, these are among the teams who've made offers to the Cavaliers for Irving, league sources tell ESPN: The San Antonio Spurs, LA Clippers, Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks and Miami Heat.

The Cavaliers want a package that resembles the 2011 Denver Nuggets-New York Knicks deal for Carmelo Anthony -- young players, win-now veterans and draft picks, league sources said.

Irving has a history of late nights and partying, but there's no trail of missed practices, bloodshot eyes or hungover shootarounds. Most intel has come back that he has curbed those tendencies into his mid-20s, picking his spots more wisely. As a teammate, Irving can be moody, but most agree he's ultimately invested.

Several suitors contend there are two teams with the best ability to make deals for Irving: the Suns and Boston Celtics. So far, the Suns are unwilling to include No. 4 overall pick Josh Jackson in a trade, league sources said. The Celtics are monitoring, but it's unclear how aggressive they'll get -- and how motivated the Cavaliers would be to make a deal with their fiercest conference rival.

The Miami Heat are willing to part with Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow as centerpieces for an Irving trade, league sources said. With the Cleveland-Miami history, there's little chance for a deal unless the Heat offered an overwhelming package.

Sounds like he's 25 and already ran through the women Cleveland has to offer. Maybe he wants a home base where he has a wider selection.

I don't blame him. I'd want the same.
