For whatever reason you're having a really hard time grasping that just because Klay is the team's better perimeter defender that it automatically makes Curry a bad one.

Klay is going to defend the other teams best scoring guard, he's a better and longer defender. It's only common sense and doesn't at all relay that Curry is worse than a player on the other team just because they aren't matched up lol. Teams use the matchup that best benefits their team, it just so happens that GS has a player better suited to defended Kyrie than Steph. Cleveland would do the same exact thing if they had an elite defensive SG.

Mike Conley is a very capable defender, Memphis still sticks Tony Allen on guys like Steph as often as they can. It's the same thing. It's why Gary Payton defended Jordan, it's why Pippen defended Magic. This isn't playground pick up basketball, it's organized and and strategic. Teams are going to use the matchup that best suits their strengths. It's not as simple as "guard who's guarding you" in some open run pick up game.

Lol you are disregarding the fact that NBA players disrespect Curry's defense let alone us on a message board. Watch the game. Everytime Curry guards a top guard they're right to the cup

If everyone likes when Steph guard them then hes not a good defender point blank period. Look how aggressive players get when guarded by Steph

lol I'm not with the camp that's calling Curry some really good defender, but your argument is such a poor one. This would be like me saying "Vince Carter was better than Michael Jordan" then posting a few YouTube highlights with Vince's best plays and saying "don't look at the stats, just watch these videos".. highlight videos are never the answer to anything.

Do you even know why the question about Steph's defense was asked during that KD/Russ interview? It's because Steph had played good defense that game. It doesn't help your argument any to post a clip when KD says "he doesn't cover the other teams best guards" because everyone on this forum already knows that Klay covers the other teams best guard. We've all been telling you that for 3 or 4 pages now lol.

Everyone in here knows Curry can't defend the likes of Westbrook, Wall, Kyrie, playing one on one defense. They are too quick for him. They are took quick for everyone else in the league too. This whole thing started with the argument that Kyrie was the better defender but every argument you're making also applies directly to him.

Gilbert and the new Cavs GM downplayed Kyrie and Lebron's rift.

Said they expect Kyrie in camp, though things are "fluid" as far as whether Kyrie would be traded.

At this rate I'm now thoroughly convinced that's its Steph Curry who needs to go up on the trade block.
