You're stuck on Crowder? Lmao. The only way this deal looks awful imo is if that nets pick is #1 overall. Literally all m worried about as a celts fan.

Wow. Now a Cavs/Celtics ECF would be very interesting. Epic

I love Kyrie's grit and stones but MAN this is a great deal for Cleveland, assuming that Nets pick turns into a Top 3 choice like it should. I'm sure they know LeBron is gone and it will help them rebuild with that top pick. That or it's a good enough player that it may entice LeBron to stay.

Looking at next summer, if the Cavs didn't make this move they'd have their hands tied in terms of improving the roster. Now they can either let IT walk (granted it doesn't help their cap situation really) or use his Bird Rights and potentially add a kid like Porter Jr or Bagley.

I'm shocked Ainge let go of that Nets pick, finally, for this...

Btw, fitting for the Cavs to get the #1 pick again when LeBron leaves

Lebron still probably wins. Would be a sexy ECF though for sure.

Whoa. Think Cavs did about as well as possible with the balance of trying to win now and getting a quality asset.

C's are making a lateral move right now, but if Tatum and Brown are as good as their fans think then they should have a quality young core for the foreseeable future.

How much better is the Cavs roster as far as chances against the Warriors or any top 4-5 team in the West after this trade?

I say West teams because they were pretty much a lock to get there regardless of who their PG was next season.

no I'm saying Kyrie for IT alone is fine then you add Crowder and then you add the BKN It's a heist. It's really altogether imo.

Crowder is on a bargain contract who is a really good player.

And I was wrong about the Cavs not trading with a eastern conference rival. I guess it's really only about getting the best deal.

I think it's a very good trade for Boston but the only reservation I would have is that they could have gotten a better player (imo) in Jimmy Butler and even Paul George for that exact same package.

Why did they refuse to give up that pick in the draft for either of those guys but they give it up now?
