Actually I take it all back. Just saw D Rose post this photo today from a team workout. I didn't realize they had the GOAT back in the fold. Sorry Two Four, no chip for you this year.

Brothers love giving the classic mean mug/pose aka the PerkGod Pose in group photos.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Judging by what you’ve seen them do on crappy teams with roles that are too big for them while ignoring what they could add to a team like Cleveland’s bench.
If Jeff Green and Jae Crowder don’t end up as better options than James Jones then y’all are more than welcome to come back and find these posts mid-season and remind me of how horrible they are.

Both of those guys will add more to the Cavs than James Jones, lol. TBH, the more I think of it, and if IT is ale to get fully healthy and be close to what he has been from his hip injury, I think the Cavs, are every bit as good as the team they have had these past 2 yrs.
The only thing I have wondered is if the dram queen of Lebron James will he stay or will he go crap, happens, how will the team respond to it. If it dont effect them, then Id still say they are the odds on favorite to still come out of the EC. If the drama does cause a disruption of team chemistry, then I think both Boston and the Wizards as well, have a great chance to make it to the finals.
Id probably say IT is a slight downgrade at PG, but not by a lot. Both are clutch players, and outside of Kyrie being taller, and Id give Kyrie the edge shooting from the perimeter as well, they are about the same player. Neither are great defensive players either. Kyrie has had durability issues thru the yrs, so who to say he will last a whole season in Boston without missing several games due to injury.
Cavs got better defensively with adding Crowder. So as long as the Lebron James drama queen act, dont cause lockeroom issues, because you know the media will constantly be talking about this non stop all season long, unless Lebron actually signs a extension, and going by his track record thats not likely to happen.
It will be interesting to see how the Cavs handle the drama this yr. There is always drama with Lebron, but it likley will be more intense with the talk of going to the Lakers.
JMO, but if Lebron jumps to the Lakers, because he sees a road where he can possibly be part of a super team to get him as many more rings than MJ has, he will ruin his reputation as far as ever being able to pass MJ for GOAT. And IMO if he stays in Cleveland and continues to lead them to the finals yr end and yr out, and even win another 1, then I truly believe he is right there with MJ, but if he jumps ship again to form a super team in LA as its a pretty good bet PG13 will be a Laker next season as well, then IMO Lebron has no chance to ever be considered GOAT.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11
