You're telling me that the Bulls are going to be trying to make a run at him aren't you?

Gasol would have to leave, I think.

Mills and Ginobli are UFAs, Simmons is a RFA. Dedmon has a player-option I think so he can opt out to try to get a bigger salary.

Manu still plays key minutes for them and earned $14 million this year. So it wouldn't be cheap to retain him.
I was focusing specifically on Parker. I wouldn't be shocked if he were done or took a significant step back in roll (but I don't know if they could get any of that money back from him though.. that would definitely be problematic).

Because it's you, I'm not sure if you left out the Spurs on purpose or not, lol.

Would you rather they make a run at him or retain Rondo?

Spurs or Jazz both could use him right now. Obviously the injuries make that more of a need that normal though.

New Orleans could be a decent fit. I'm not all too familiar with the happenings surrounding that team to know how they view Jrue Holiday, but he is an UFA after next season. Could possibly move him for depth and bring in Kyle Lowry as a replacement.

Ya'll are bringing back Rose and you'll like it.

Or you can always make a run at the evil villian, Washed Deron.

I like Jrue but not sure how I'd compare him to Lowry... interesting question. There will definitely be a big difference in price. I'm not sure NO can afford Cousins, Davis and Lowry, and try to fill in the crap they currently have around their stars.

Could the Jazz be a team that might go after Lowry? George Hill was their main PG this past season and his contract is up. They do have Exum at PG as well, but if they could get Lowry I'm sure they'd go for him.

One thing we can be sure of - none of the A-List FAs will wind up in NY. No way they'd put up with Phil's passive aggressive behavior, or sit through his stupid triangle sessions. I'm pretty sure the word is out about the Knicks organization & Phil Jackson.

I'd rather keep Rondo and draft a point guard then waste max money on Lowry who's shown he disappears in the playoffs on more than one occasion now and is on the wrong side of 30.

You say that jokingly, but apparently this happened last week.

I don't even know how I feel about it. Seems like we just have to accept we missed our chance with him and move on. But if he's taking a dirt cheap contract and understanding he's not the guy here anymore. Then I think I'd be up for it.

If Toronto offers him the super Max, which is 5 years and over $200 million, he won't go anywhere.

For comparison, Mike Conley got the biggest contract right now, over $150 million, about $30 million per year average.

The Grizzlies didn't even get out of the second round. However, Conley played very well, helping the Grizzlies push the Spurs to 6 games.

The other thing is Conley doesn't turn 30 until October while is Lowry is 31 now. He just completed the first year of his deal so he signed his deal at 28-29.

Rose won't leave that super team in NY.

Thing is he's not worth significant cap space for teams like the Spurs or anyone trying to build up to the next level of they are already up top.

If supermax came out of his agents mouth id laugh hard like john cleese in rat race then end the meeting.
