Get him on the cheap, Marks!

Portland guard Allen Crabbe, who will undergo foot surgery, expected to be ready for start of 2017-18 season, league sources tell ESPN.

Watching Raptors President Masai Ujiri give his end of season press conference.....It's like a parent scolding their kid. "I'm not mad, just disappointed", which I'm sure many know is worse than being upset. Either way, it's the most he's been with this team. Definitely see some changes coming this offseason.

Heard that Ujiri said something about making sure to keep making the playoffs?

It would be a lot of money to pay Lowry just to make playoffs.

Heard Lowry said the only thing he cares about in signing his next deal, for which he opted out, is winning a ring.

Let's be honest, he could take a 1 or 2 year minimum deal with the Cavs or the Warriors to get a ring.

He already said nobody is closing the gap on Lebron? But he's not going to pass up a huge contract to ring chase at this stage in his career.

What he said is that just making playoffs isn't good enough anymore.

As long as Lebron is still playing, it might as well be for a lot of teams in the East.

Clearly reporters trying their best to be right. One report says Lowry wants to win a championship, one says he wants to go to the west, one says Raptors, and now one says 76ers.

So in the past 3 days Lowry has already been reported to be interested in going to like 66% of the league.

You're going to see him connected to a whole bunch of teams as free agency plays out. That is how it works. A would Kyle Lowry work in Philly think piece becomes Kyle Lowry and Philly have mutual interest. All a part of the rumor mill game.

Fizdale, who used to be an assistant with the Heat when Lebron was there, said Lebron might still be explosive as he is now when he is 37, because he's such a fanatical worker.

Then he could transition to an old man's game (whatever that means) or just walk away. He did say Vince Carter has that old man's game now.

I think it's being too optimistic about Lebron retaining his athleticism that long. But more importantly, can he maintain his energy level in the mid 30s?

Tony Parker is 34 and didn't sustain much during the regular season. He was having pretty good playoffs, attacking the basket a lot like he used to. But nothing like he was doing 4-5 years ago.

Can all the special training and hyperbaric chambers ward off Father Time for another 5 years?

Get ready to hear him ask for a whole lotta help in the future.

The Philly rumor at least makes some sense what with Colangelo being there and the fact that it's his hometown HOWEVER if he wants to win a championship than hoo boy, that's a long road to hoe. The Sixers have an interesting young core but I feel like by the time they're good enough to make legit noise Lowry's best days will be far behind him. Actually, looking at it now I feel like his decline is closer than one thinks what with his style of play and becoming more injury prone lately.

It almost makes too much sense for the Raps to just let him go. Signs seem to be indicating that already what with Ujiri giving Casey a vote of confidence heading into next season.

There isn't a hyperbolic chamber in the world that can restore cartilage in the knees. But I don't see any reason to think he won't transition to the "old man's game". He's naturally got a version of it already, mixed in with his explosiveness. He's also a big human being making it easier to transition from the wing to mostly high/low post. And, most importantly, LBJ's work ethic can't be questioned, so there's no doubt he'll be around as long as he wants.

BUT we already have a team more than capable of beating his team, with two all stars playing with him. Who knows if/when another will pop up... even in the East.

They got Parker at another year for $15 million.

Gasol has a player option for like $15 or $20 million.

Gasol would have to leave, I think.

Mills and Ginobli are UFAs, Simmons is a RFA. Dedmon has a player-option I think so he can opt out to try to get a bigger salary.

Manu still plays key minutes for them and earned $14 million this year. So it wouldn't be cheap to retain him.

The serious title contenders like Warriors, Cavs will pass on him and then the next group like the Wizards, Celtics, Rockets will as well.

Outside of those teams, I can see other playoff teams looking at him because there's going to be someone who thinks he can help their team despite his performance in the playoffs this year.
