You can't let Lebron spin the ball like that in front of you. It's a bad look but that's Lebron. Slap that thing into his face.

Re: 2017 Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
I think something probably needs to happen in Toronto. Some guys step up when it counts the most, and some dont. For whatever reason Lowry and Derozan both play great during the season, and then its like watching totally different players once the playoffs start.
Obviously it much easier to get rid of a coach than it is players, and while maybe a new coach is needed to shake things up, I tend to think form what I see anyway, that its more on the players than the coach, but the coach isnt without fault.
I know Larry Bird has alwasy said a NBA coaches life is about 5 yrs with a team for the most part, then players start tuning him out. While I think there is some truth to that unless its a coach who has won it all, and routinely gets his teams deep into the playoffs, Im not sure it alwasy the case.
Take the Pacers, I tend to think if we would have had Coach Vogel this yr we would have been better than what we were. I think with Vogel's contract being up Bird just decided to make the change, but if Vogel would have had another yr on his deal, I think Bird would have kept him and not fired him.
So changing a coach who is getting you into the playoffs each yr, especially considering no better than Toronto has been for most of their exsistents might not end up fixing it.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: 2017 Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
I think Lowry has been trying. Game 1 he was really the only one doing what Casey said about bringing more tempo and he did the same tonight. At least the team was a little more consistent about it this time around and there was some early success. I got to admit, Lue knows how to manipulate the timeout situation. In a video game world it would be considered cheesing but every time the Raptors would get on a run and the momentum starts to turn he calls a timeout and then things shift back the Cavs way. It's uncanny how that happens and while I find it annoying I can't blame him for using the tools in the toolbox so to speak.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I knew they could definitely play better....but how much better remains to be seen..
I can't really understand what they are doing....there are seemingly a lot of random traps and switches....bit it's confusing TorontoComment

They did that late in games against the Pacers to, and our guys got confused. Its probably something Lue has left to Lebron, on when to call for that trap. It definitely has Toronto confused, and it saved the Cavs probably a game or 2 against the Pacers by using it.
The Cavs defense looks much better as a whole against the Raptors than it did against the Pacers.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Cavs 3 point shooting 18/33
Raps 3 point shooting 5/17
13 more 3's x 3 = 39 point differential, my goodness !!
With blind hope, I still have thin line of hope that we defend homecourt, stop the 3 ball and send this back to Cleveland at 2-2.
Someone please slap me and bring me back to reality !! LOL....Comment

Welp, I'm gonna need the Wizards to start their 4 game winning streak tonight.

Given our luck in D.C. all year I'm gonna declare this a must-win game for us. Last thing we can do is allow the Wizards to gain any momentum and send this thing back to Boston tied two games apiece.Comment
