The last 5 minutes of regulation lasted forever.
Great game and entertaining.
Same problems as the whole year. Having double digit leads on the road in the playoffs - should be up 2-0 rather than on the flipside of it.
IT is just a magician. Insane.

I don't understand why Washington went away from posting up IT. Wall and Beal both posted him up early in the game and he picked up 2 fouls within the first 2 minutes. Thought they were aggressively trying to take him out of the game but then they went away from that. Boston moved him to Porter but Porter seems clueless in the post. He took an ugly Dirk fadeaway over someone a foot shorter than him. They should have went with a 1-3 Pick & Roll and forced a switch.
Wizards bench is awful though and they'll need someone besides Jason Smith to step up.
Great game though and watching Wall and IT compete is a treat.[NYK|DAL|VT]

Yup..same as in game 1..we had them over the foul limit early..and didn't attack the basket...and why cant we defend the damn 3 point line..been like that for years

One thing I heard Chuck say during the quick wrap up last night was that the Wiz shouldn't have been switching on the pick and roll with IT. Completely agree with him, IT is too explosive for Gortat.

Two great games so far from two evenly matched teams. Right now the difference seems to be IT played like a basketball god and 3-Point shooting. Boston is 32-75 42% for the series whereas Washington is 20-57 35%. Of course, Washington's poor FT shooting was a major difference in Game 1, as well.
Also, if you've played NBA 2K in the past few years that OT was just about like every 2K OT that I've ever experienced. Where one team got hot in OT and the other can't do anything right. I'm not complaining though.
Washington is going to be even tougher on their home court. Wall is going to keep getting his and I doubt Beal is going to be as cold as he was night or FT's will be as bad as they were in Game 1, so Boston has to be at the top of their game if the want a win. All I'm just asking for us to steal one game in Washington. I don't think that's too much to ask...My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Been saying all year they switch to easy..dude from Atlanta was taken advantage of it..now a better IT is killing it....my thing is Gortat gets call all the time for moving picks but not 1 on Horford who moves all-around and extend his arms

Yeah but there's a reason the PnR is so prominent in the NBA right now. If a good screen is set, it's hard to defend. There are different approaches to counter it but all would be difficult against the Celtics.
1. As quick as IT is, attempting to hedge with Morris/Gortat would usually be even worse than the skates he put them on when switching. It'd be a constant 5 on 3 with IT flying by the PF/C and the G being caught up in the rolling screener.
2. Attempting to go over the screen without hedging creates 5 on 4... layups.
3. IT is too good of a 3 pt shooter to go under the screen.
4. Doubling IT could work at times, but as a constant strategy, the C's could easily adjust to a quick pass on the double for a likely layup or rotation to an open 3.
The best thing to do would be switching up all 4 strategies as randomly as possible, but you can imagine how hard that is to do and make sure all players are constantly on the same page.
Meh, I don't know about Gortat getting calls "all the time" for moving picks. He gets away with A LOT just like everyone in the league these days. I actually feel like the Celtics have been called for more fouls on screens than we usually see.Comment
