Can't talk about hot takes anymore because apparently that's what every opinion is considered nowadays.

At least that's what I was told in the 1st round.

I think I said at the time that I didn't think he intentionally hurt Love's Shoulder...

But I don't know what "root for your laundry" means... most people here saying they hate the guy are not Wizards fans. And your fellow Celtics fan's comment was that a lot of people in Boston don't like the guy either.

Now saying Oubre went "full on crazy" is accurate... well I guess not technically because he did all of that and didn't even punch the guy so it's only inaccurate in that it looks even worse that he DIDN'T go full on crazy. Either let it go (like he should have) or clock the guy. All of that for a forearm shove was a bad look.

They are hard screens and he got called for a foul on one of them. At most they were a common offensive fouls and I don't see much wrong with that. The screens were not really "dirty". Oubre just had no idea they were coming. Which is his own teams fault.

I'm pretty sure you know what "root for laundry" means. I didn't say I was referencing anything in this thread. I'm referring to some things I've seen around social media and such. Like wizards fans wearing shirts that say "fine Olynk". Things like that are silly. Even booing him looks silly in this instance but like I said I get it.

I don't like kelly that much at all but it has nothing to do with if he's dirty or not. I'll stand by what I said. If oubre doesn't act like an idiot there is no issue here.

All kinds of dirty plays going on at that time apparently:

I still think he did it on purpose, just like how Green kicks people in the nuts on purpose.

It's infuriating. It's just like 2-5 minute stretch every game where they just become a turnover fest.

Seeing Whiteside and Oubre both react in a similar way towards Kelly lead me to believe he's just one of those guys who do little things throughout the game that add up to frustration, things that can lean toward the dirty-ish side....weve all balled with THOSE guys...doesnt mean he's a bad person or is intentionally trying to hurt anyone.....he may just be one of those guys..

Yep. Think they went something like 6 minutes without a made FG too. And it all just happened so fast and the next think I know they're down 20+ points.

I think that is a fair assessment of Olynyk. He's also incredibly awkward with his body movements. If you've seen him drive to the basket you'd know he moves like newborn deer trying to find its legs. It ain't pretty. lol

I'm not trying to give him a pass, but I really don't believe he's intentionally attempting to hurt other players.

There was nothing wrong with the screens he set.
There was clearly something "wrong" with it, confirmed by it being called a foul. That's what I replied to. You're changing your wording now, and I'm pointing it out specifically because of your call about "rooting for the laundry" when your wording is clearly you doing just that.

As for the phrase in general, I say it all the time... if you're not talking about people here, either make it clear in your post or just leave it out. Nobody here cares about the idiots and casual fans around the internet and their extreme views. You presented it like you were talking about people here. But again, your responses are pretty much the definition of what you're criticizing.

I notice you ignored the part of my reply that says Oubre should've just let it go and embarrassed himself even more with that punk forearm shove. Or how fans of many teams have been showing their hate for Olynk for years.

Personally, I don't like him, don't hate him, don't really care. He reminds me of Delly... pushing the limits and doing whatever he can to remain an NBA player. It's a well paying job and I ain't hating on the man for doing what he can to keep it. I personally think it's hilarious that Green called him dirty when he's cut from the same cloth. Rodman would've bought him a drink.

                          .

I don't think an offensive foul is a valid reason to charge across the court and tackle a guy. That's all I was saying. There wasn't much wrong with what kelly o did. Sorry I didn't word it perfectly. Sounds like we are essentially on the same page though.

I don't either, but there's still a gap between how we feel I think. There was definitely "something" wrong with the screen. He had elbows high, and if you've ever caught an unnecessary elbow on a play like that while playing ball, you'd be pretty pissed off too. A "normal" offensive foul on a screen is when the guy isn't set or slips a slight knee. Getting a foul called on a high elbow is a bit more than that.

BUT, it was worth exactly what he got... a regular foul, not a tech or flagrant or anything. Oubre was reacting to the combination of questionable screens, but I'm not defending him at all. The ref called the foul, that's all that should've happened... that part we're definitely on the same page.

And if game 7 is needed there's another 3 day break after game 6 on Friday. Cavs gonna get like a week and a half of rest lol.
