Then, Spree helps the knicks go to the finals, proves to be a model citizen (When his family was well fed), and was loved in NY. I have a gut feeling that Isiah Thomas will call the Pacers next year to pawn off Tim Thomas for Artest. I just see Artest as a Knick next year. Whats even stranger is that wouldn't bother me. Everybody deserves a second chance and we have all made mistakes. Ron Artest is no different.Comment

Also, I'm sure (or at least am hoping) that the NBA and the Pacers will find a way to help Artest.
While, I agree that Artest is definitely not all up there, he is definitely aware tha the makes mistakes. His problem is that he doesn't understand the magnitude of those mistakes. But, being that he knows he's wrong for something, I don't think it'll be hard to convince him to seek some sort of help."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob NeyerComment
