    Dwight Howard-where's the love?

The guy's 18, straight out of high school, and is averaging almost a double-double. If he was even the 1st or 2nd option on offence he would probably add 5 PPG to his 9.4 average. 10.6 rebounds per game I find incredible for a teenager.

Yet the media is so fixated on Lebron he gets nary a mention. I know being a dominant rebounder is not as glamorous as dunking but this guy should be getting a few accolades. Someone at least throw a few commercials his way, maybe the ones that Carmelo shouldn't be getting. Am I right or what?

    ^ yep
everyone is so hyped up on Lebron because of his age and what he does...........but trust me it will past.... the first time the kid falls the media will be right there to kick him, it's sad really...then they will find the next 'big' thing

and how bout the Magic tonight 8 players in double figures, 128 points...

yeah by the way 'king' james 2-8 5pts, 2, 2. best player in the league right. (poor Duncan, he gets no credit)

chill man, Lebron is in his second year. He is way ahead of any other high schooler in his second year, besides everyone has a bad game once in a while

edit: as for dwight howard he has been pretty good, but i've been really surprised by emeka okafor. I expected dwight to do ok, but i expected emeka to flop (though i'm really glad, maybe more people will follow). But dwight has 3 years on emeka.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Yeah but it was 128 points against my beloved Raptors where defense is a dirty word.

I have to say this was the 1st full game I saw of Howard. Now I'm even more impressed. He got something like 15 Pts and 15 boards. The guy's a monster rebounder. He also had some nice passes and a nice scoring touch in the paint. If he works on his defence and finds a jumpshot the sky's the limit for this guy. He's built like a linebacker and his dad is a state trooper so you know he won't act like a dick. If the NBA's smart they'll push Lebron over to the other side of the bed a bit and give this guy some sack time. They're wasting thier time hyping Carmelo.

Was it 20 boards, now I'm impressed even more with him and with you for picking him. At least someone is showing him some love.

I just made that remark because when he scored 43 pts it was a big deal so when he has a bad game shouldn't it be a big deal? It's just kind off dumb when people say he is the best player in the league, yes he is very good and has insane potential but thats it. thats all he has.

anyway.... the thing about Howard and Lebron is their size, these guys bodies are really advanced for their age and in a few years ..... i don't even want to think about
it. The NBA has a really bright future.

I really hope melo can catch himself because he really stinks now...maybe it really was his weed. just kidding.
