anyway.... the thing about Howard and Lebron is their size, these guys bodies are really advanced for their age and in a few years ..... i don't even want to think about
it. The NBA has a really bright future.

I really hope melo can catch himself because he really stinks now...maybe it really was his weed. just kidding.
melo needs to get an nba ready body like lebron, and dwayne. Looks at darko and melo, i would say their bodies are the worst and to no surprise they are doing the worst. Even bosh has worked out, and he is playing better this year. In the NBA you can't rely on talent alone which i feel is what melo is doing. I don't know why nike is wasting all those commercials on him, at least show them after he plays well for part of the season.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Yeah LeBron is the reason Dwight is getting no hype.

But as far as Dwight goes, I've been a huge fan since his HS days. What isn't there to like about this guy? He's probably the most humble guy in the NBA and as a fellow Christian myself, I applaud him for maintaining his Christian lifestyle in the NBA. That's got to be a tough thing to do, especially for a 19 year old kid.

This is the stupidest thing I heard since Greg Anthony said Lebron said should be a canidate for MVP in his rookie season.

he might be a devoted Christian but don't think he's AC Green

Yosemite's conspiracy theory: Both of these athletes are similar in physical maturity and how they got to the NBA. Lebron is hyped as the "next one" which the NBA so desperately needs. If Howard keeps up his pace his rookie season it will be no less impressive than Lebron's yet you hear nothing about him. Why? Well if you make Howard out as a teenage phenom then the criteria you use for Lebron as being "special" because of his age and lack of college experience doesn't make him so "special" after all. If they're coming out of the woodwork every year then what's the big deal about Lebron? Sounds plausible and you're thinking "Holy ****, Yosemite's right." I do my best thinking at night.

No offense, but could you please explain how Howard averaging 10 boards as a PF, outweighs LeBron coming in and playing the PG (a more complex, demanding position), putting up 20/6/6? Coming in and taking over as team leader and focal point? Do you really beleive that keeping up a pace of, what, 9 points and 1.5 assist is just as impressive? Riiiiiight.

                                Heres McCoys conspiracy theory...

Every dominant player gets a ton of press...which in turn builds a small segment of folks who base their opinions on the fact that they are sick and tired of the percieved hype. This misguided group of disgruntled highlight show viewers will always exist, these dudes have been saying the same thing since the kid was still in HS. "He's only doing it against HS players".."uhhh...he can only dunk" etc... Their arguments are running out, but hey, he hasn't gotten a triple-double yet, so he must be over-hyped right?

Howard is a great young talent, no doubt, and I definately think Orlando made the right choice...but why are people COMPELLED to downplay another player to make a point? LeBron had one of the greatest rookie seasons in the history of the NBA.. Don't confuse Howards great start on the glass as the same level of acheivement...its not even close.

Ah well, welcome to the "LeBron-aint-all-that" club. Theres always room for one more...
