Glad he's going to a good team. Love the nuggets are just saying screw it just score all the points who cares about defense. They will be fun to watch.

So I'm just curious...How much are players agents influencing where guys go?

Like let's say a player wants to take a paycut because he likes his team and it'll help them get better. Are agents telling them that they shouldn't do that and influencing them to take a bigger payday with another team? [emoji848]

I saw on r/NBA that Jaylen Brown made some comments about how he was mad that LeBron left the EC cause he wanted to be apart of the team that finally beat him and then I read a comment while drinking a beer that said "KD is confused by these statements" and I spit my beer out laughing, so I just had to share that with y'all [emoji23]

That is how the 80s Nuggets played.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Much like Khris Middleton and Kyrie Irving, he stands to earn way more money if he waits for next offseason to sign, so this shouldn't come as any surprise.

From our favorite beat reporter, perhaps Jabari.

There you go King, Jabari to the Bulls or Kings?

Have to take things with a grain of salt from this reporter.

Should be noted that Woelfel also wrote at the beginning of free agency that there was like 10-15 teams banging on the door to try to sign Jabari to a big contract and yet there's been nothing to this point.

I guess we'll see, but it just doesn't really make sense to me. Like what was the point in Chicago rescinding the QO on Nwaba in this case? Jabari almost certainly won't require the little cap space that move cleared up. Just seems odd to me but we'll see what happens.

Edit: My guess is that considering it's originating from Woelfel and the NBC guy is quoted as saying "Jabari wants to be a Bull", this talk of the Bulls interest is probably just Jabari's agent trying to make Milwaukee up the ante or risk him walking to their neighboring rivals.

I think there is some smoke to this fire. The Bulls have been freeing up roster spots and cap space for something. The speculation around the team currently is that they're trying to get in position to either absorb bad contracts with draft picks attached to them, or they're looking to take a stab at guys like Rodney Hood, Carmelo or Jabari. The Jabari move is most likely since that's as GarPax a move as possible. A guy they wanted/had interest in years ago who is suddenly available, but comes at significantly high risks. That's classic Garpax right there.

I've also seen from a few Bulls sites I follow that they're they've freed up space looking to absorb a contract like Deng, then try to re-sign Nwaba with the room MLE. I guess we'll see in the next day or so what their plan is.

I just don’t think Jabari should cost $20+ mil per year but maybe your front office would actually do that haha.

I know there’s a Bucks source on another board saying he’s hearing that a sign and trade is very likely to go down (but again, that almost certainly wouldn’t require the cap space y’all have carved up unless we just want a huge trade exception in the trade)

Yeah, for as much as Pax is always talking about flexibility, I can't see how paying Jabari $20 million for the next 2 years (I'm assuming this wouldn't be a 1 year deal?) fits that stance. But then, these are the same guys who traded away Derrick Rose and said that they were going to build around Jimmy Butler and get "younger and more athletic" and proceeded to sign 35 year old Dwyane Wade and 30 year old Rajon Rondo about a week and a half later, so take that however.
