I was wrong about this one, but I can guarantee that Hollywood Jimmy Butler will NOT stay in Toronto. First, I highly doubt Thibs trades Jimmy for Lowry. But if he does, Jimmy will not stay in Toronto. Dude's ego will not allow that to happen.

That one we'll be fine with. Gets Lowrys deal off the books a year earlier, and they have good replacements for Lowry in Wright/FVV.


Won't be just Lowry in the deal, maybe Green gets added in that deal or something?

Very possible that Kawhi and Danny Green are only half-season rentals. If Leonard refuses to play or just flat out seems disinterested and the Raptors are just a .500 team by the deadline, I expect Toronto to call up the Lakers and offer Leonard for a young piece, trade Lowry away, bottom out for the lottery and begin the rebuild process post-trade deadline.



It's a shrewd trade by the Toronto front office and only reinforces that this is a business -- no player should be held to some ridiculous "loyalty" standard when the management of teams repeatedly take guys who rep them hard, like DeRozan, and trade them for Leonard -- who we're not even sure can play.

Depends on which Kawhi they get back. If they get pre “Kawhi landing on Zaza’s foot” Kawhi, then they should be better than a 1st Rd exit team.

Especially since the consensus before this trade was that they were a Top 3 team in the East outside of Boston/Philly(as of now).

The charity thing was setting up a Wakandan embassy, it's crazy because Masai is the Black Panther, he defended Obama all while negotiating the terms of the deal.

see, it could go either way. Both green and ibaka saw a decrease in DRPM last year and DG might have hit that age wall (32). Could see one of the best defensive lineups with that group or they could just be average. This season really could go bad or really good for toronto.
