I mean, the Spurs have obviously been due for some bad luck after like 30 straight years of being good, but man, it seems like they'll end up getting REALLY little value back for an MVP candidate here. That just sucks so much.

At least it seems like we might have multiple teams that can compete with the Warriors next year.

according to espn trade machine Ball, Frye and Zubac worth $ wise I think Frye has a team option.

If you're Boston, do you offer Kyrie straight up for Kawhi?

Both guys are expiring, so if Boston thinks Kyrie might walk next offseason, why not? At minimum, it forces your rival Lakers to give up more in a trade to get him.

The Spurs will undoubtedly want and get more than just Randle, and in a sign-and-trade, Randle is the only piece the Lakers could send.

I think it's almost a guarantee AT LEAST one of them is gone. Bron will want another couple stars with him in LA, they can get 1 via FA (I think the cap space works), and then they'll have to get another in through a trade.
