If the Lakers goal is to get a "Big 3" of Lebron, Kawhi, and George (or whoever) then for it to work the last domino to fall needs to be the trade for Kawhi; so there's really no way to keep it secret.

LOL @ thinking the Lakers and Spurs have even exchanged names or picks in regards to a Kawhi trade.

I still don’t get Lebron to Philly. How would that ever work with Simmons?

Ben would handle to ball Lebron would play off the ball which would take a lot of the pressure off him. He would have other ball handles in LA or Houston also. He would also be able to guard a weaker defender with Roco, ben and even TJ and embiid.

I understand how they would go about but based off last season, it’s tough for me to see their game coexisting.

I believe you are mistaken on some facts. There is not an offer from SA waiting to be accepted and it is doubtful there will be. Last I heard, the Spurs are acting like a chick who blocked the Lakers' number.

On another note, Melo not opting out... no brainer, but OKC has a heck of a payroll with his 28 million on the books
Wait, Money Melo making a financial decision? Get outta here?! Who'd have seen that coming?

                    Well it's official now

To be fair most players in the league wouldn't reject 28 million.

Paying him all that money for some mediocre quality of play, and OKC are still too scared to ask him to come off the bench.

Might end up getting bought out but still

They traded for him and knew the risks

He in the gym training by himself again now... he fooled yall last year lol

Oh no doubt most players wouldn't. Just saying it's not a surprise at all that he's taking the money and rolling. It's cool, get that money. Just Money Melo is all.

I am thinking they trade him to a team that only sees him as a expiring contract that might even buy him out like the nets did with Howard. It would just take a team that would be willing to give up one useful player so the thunder would take on a contract that's bad with 2 years to go.

For example I would give them Bazmore and Dedman plus a 2nd round pick then we just buy Anthony out.

Doesn't he have a no trade clause?
