If I understand correctly leaving he ground off one foot and landing on two is already supposed to be consider 3 steps right? Gather step and then your 1-2 land.. this dude just took basically 5 steps in total.

A little late responding to this, but no, it's not a travel (at least not in the NBA). The NBA rule considers Luka leaving the ground off one foot to be his gather, and therefore when he lands, that's his first step and he can then legally pivot with either foot.

But he jumped, landed on two feet, did a pivot, then picked his pivot up and jumped off the foot he stepped with.. I don’t think that’s legal lol, even in the league.

So the Nuggets are 3-0 despite only shooting 43% FG, 27.4% 3PT, 71.7% FT because they suddenly became the NBA's best defense with a 92.9 Defensive Rating with Celtics 2nd at 97.3. Weren't the Nuggets like 25th in Defensive Rating last year?

It is. As I mentioned, when he lands on two feet, that's considered his first step. He's then allowed to pivot off either foot (in this case he pivots off his right foot). He steps with his left and then jumps. That's all legal, and as long as he shoots the ball before his pivot foot returns to the ground, it's all good.
