Do we have a reason for this insistence on LA outside of the LeBron connection? Why is he so intent on avoiding Boston?

Keep in mind, Kawhi and George were supposedly "LA or bust" too....It may indeed be one of his preferred destinations, but I dont buy that it's his only option.

It's possible he could come back for a few weeks at the end of the season. The next update was supposed to be mid-Feb.

I don't know what would bring this on now. The Knicks have been dreadful all season. It better not be related to this doofus Kanter getting benched. KP has a weirdly myopic stance when it comes to his veteran teammates.

From my understanding he’s upset because he’s actually healthy and in shape and the Knicks are keeping him out in order to tank. I actually don’t blame KP and can see why he’s upset with the organization.

If I’m the Mavs I’m all over this. KP is friends with both Luka and Dirk. It’s no coincidence that this is coming out after the Mavs beat the Knicks last night and he got to talk to both Luka and Dirk.

If the Knicks are still interested in DSJ (who had a triple/double last night against the Knicks) I’m sure the Mavs could put something together. Do the Knicks have any huge/bad contracts that they’d like to dump? The Mavs can provide cap space this off season if the Knicks would like to be players in FA. Also they would have control of Dennis for 3 more seasons under his rookie contract.

Well considering he hasn’t played in over a year his value isn’t exactly high. They sure as hell aren’t getting AD for him.
