Randle wanted to get paid and they were going to low ball him. He was the team's toughness ironically.

Silver screen and roll article on why Chris Haynes thinks LA won't be seeing Davis by the deadline.

Also I know Rich Paul went to agent school, but I don't think he's a lawyer like many of those agents.

Maybe he's getting advice from Pelinka, but it helps to have the legal knowledge.

I could have swore that was the report given.. if so that’s not really on the Lakers. They probably would have kept him for a 1 year deal like he has now (without the player option obviously) and maybe even given him the long contract he wanted after this next free agency period. They could have added a big fish, kept him using his bird rights and had Bron, 2nd star, Lonzo, Ingram, Kuzma, Randle.. that’s on him.

That is what happened, but for a lot of Lakers fans he should have been kept, given the long term deal, and been a featured player on the team regardless of who else was brought in, so they'll always be upset with the FO for how things went down. The same applies to Russell.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Fred Nance reps Rich Paul, so he's got access to some of the best legal advice possible if needed.

I just noticed this on Twitter, whew we.......................

Jason Kidd and the Lakers reportedly have mutual interest if the team makes a coaching change.
Los Angeles Lakers reportedly have interest in Jason Kidd potentially replacing head coach Luke Walton. Kidd previously made it clear he would like the job.

Marc Stein basically suggesting that Davis has played his last game for the Pelicans, so basically he's going to sit out the rest of the year if/when they don't trade him by the deadline.

It’d be even more wild if they didn’t trade him if he decides to sit out and wait til 2020 to make a move.

That's why its not as easy as wait till the summer when the Celtics can make a offer which is what most people are saying. If they wait till the summer the other teams like Denver, Toronto etc might not give you a good offer and Ainge might not want to give up Tatum.

Well at least that explains why they removed him from everything team related.

Pelicans better receive a knock your socks off kinda offer to move AD before the Draft Lottery happens. I personally don’t see where that offer is coming from right now, but for the sake of that franchise’s future in NO, I hope it’s enough to keep what little fan base they have loyal and interested.

                            Don’t screw this up, Pels.

I saw that late last night and a lot of people where mad thought it would be a bad idea. I dont known how I would fill with that one. Jason kidd in like his first year he coached he did a good job but he has not coached for a few years now. I am kind of surprised he has not had a coaching job the last few years.

Man the Pels want nothing to do with the Lakers. If they get Jason Kidd as a coach that would be funny.
