Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Yeah Andrew Lopez deleted the tweet and apologized when he checked in. Looks like he only played 5 min though.

The Lakers are presently offering the Pelicans a package that includes forwards Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma, guard Lonzo Ball and two first-round picks - as well as a willingness to absorb the remaining $12.7M on Solomon Hill's contract in the 2019-20 season, league sources told ESPN.

Yeah, that should be at the upper of what the Lakers should offer (no bs "protection" on those picks though).

And I'm totally loving Ainge saying **** Paul, **** Klutch and being willing to trade for Davis anyway.

the part I don't get is the Ya'll(being NOP) trusting Danny Ainge thing that's going around if he ends up lying and not offer Tatum up what is LAL going to do not offer the same meh package... Yeah right that offer is not going to change.

That's the thing, I can't think of a single reason for the Pelicans to go ahead and make a deal now.

                      - They wait and they can hear Boston's offer
                      - They can see where draft pick for teams like NY falls
                      - AD will never play a game for NOLA again so their own pick gets better with this trash that they're running out there now
                      - and if they choose to trade with the Lakers and LA's 19 1st is involved, then it gets better with no AD.
                      - Lastly, and most of all the same deals that are available now will be available in five months.

Just embrace the tank, wait and let things fall into place.

Can the Lakers even make a trade in the off-season when all of these expiring contracts used to match the salaries are gone? That’s why New Orleans would make a trade now.

They will have cap space in the offseason. Teams don't have to match contracts if they have cap space.

Ainge ain't giving up Tatum for a rental regardless...

As much as some folks would like to believe Klutch is some rogue organization just putting things out there....they are representing Davis wishes. He wouldnt allow them to specifically put out that he's not interested in Boston if he didn't feel that way...

In theory yes, if a trade were to happen the first day. If it drags out with multiple offers from multiple teams the Lakers would have to sit around and not sign anyone or make any moves while they wait on a trade to go through. Because if they were to sign more players they couldn’t immediately include them in the trade and would no longer have the cap to take on Davis for those tiny contracts.. unless I mistaken in how that works.. maybe it wouldn’t matter with his bird rights coming over.

The Pelicans can't just shutdown AD for the rest of the season, the NBA would be all over them considering the warning the Bulls were giving for sitting Robin Lopez and Justin Holiday.
