On paper, I didn't expect the Bucks beating the AS Warrior team.

So, instead of 5 AS last night, the Bucks beat a team with 3.5 AS's.

Hope Curry will be ok, MRI today on adductor strain in one of his legs.

If Bucks go 2-2 on this trip, Bud4MVP is the real deal.

Edit- Saw this on Twitter, almost spit my coffee out.

At some point the NBA have got to step in and do something about these super teams.

You just can’t let Giannis play alongside Ersan Ilyasova, Pat Connaughton and Donte DiVincenzo and expect any kind of competitive balance

        11/6 - 11/12 Games Discussion Thread

Never said it didn’t. I actually argued that same point over the summer(think it might’ve been with OJ after he got traded).

You’re hyping them up based on what they’re doing in the regular season when no one else cares about their start.

So again, until the Raptors franchise does something meaningful on the court and when it matters(especially considering that they’re only being judged based on what they do in the postseason)nobody will care about them even with you and your boy out West now. That’s just the reality of their situation and even Raptors Fans will tell you that.

I mean they were more athletic so I'm not entirely wrong, lol. And the Warriors would've crushed that old *** team harder than they did the post-trade team.

But we're talking Kawhi Leonard now, a legit and proven MVP, not Fraudney Hood and co.

Mini LeBron Nice to see him playing well. This new offense has him playing in tons of space. Probably the most of his whole career

I also didn't get to mention this guy. He's been really good. And I think he could be a even better player. That's how good he is.

I get what you're saying and why you feel that way. I just have a hard time calling them or viewing them as the same ol Raptors because they aren't. Luckily since I'm not the best at articulating my thoughts entirely, The Ringer did a much better job and just happened to write about how The Raptors are the most complete team in the NBA.

Toronto is already taking on Kawhi Leonard’s identity, and with 3-and-D players stocked at every position, the Raptors never have to sacrifice who they are: the most complete team in the NBA

The Kawhi trade was about more than just Kawhi. The Raptors also unloaded two of their only nonshooters (DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poeltl) for two elite 3-and-D players in Kawhi and Danny Green. The result was a domino effect within the rotation that pushed players into more natural roles. The Raptors went from starting two traditional big men (Valanciunas and Serge Ibaka) and a reluctant outside shooter (DeRozan) to surrounding one big with four shooters at all times. Playing in that much space is like hitting in Coors Field. All five starters are averaging career highs: Kawhi, Ibaka, and Siakam in points, Lowry in assists, and Green in 3-point percentage.

What separates the Raptors from most great 3-point-shooting teams is that their perimeter threats play defense, too. They are built like last season’s Cavs, who surrounded LeBron James with shooters, except they have the no. 9 defense in the NBA, instead of no. 29. There’s no weak link to attack. Lowry, Green, Kawhi, Siakam, and Ibaka are all plus defenders for their positions. It doesn’t change when they go to their second unit. They have waves of long and athletic players coming off their bench, and they can all shoot 3s, too.

It would be nice if y'all would be consistent and act this way about all teams that haven't done **** in the playoffs yet.

That's definitely fair but comes with tradeoffs

They don't all get the hype

Then you get the crazies who come out saying the regular season doesn't matter

Also teams like Toronto carry the stigma for getting close but never getting over the hump... Its kind of a start over for them this year and you just have to see

Atlanta was #1 in the east once and got weight roomed out of the playoffs... Raptors arent fradulent like that though.

Once you put them under pressure and see how they perform you can tell if the team needs a makeover or what they need to help them elevate to a better position

For all the bashing of regular season giants like the 60-win Hawks and the Raptors, I'm not seeing anything about the Blazers after their hot start lol

Again I don't think there are any expectations

I told Cmh a few days ago here in this thread that they're middle of the pack

Matchup in the West could still see them out as a tough 1st round opponent

Lol....Sure, lets not pencil them into the finals in October, but man.....it's OK to say Toronto, sitting at 10-1 after adding arguably a top 5 player to their team, look damn good.

Boston is so weird man. Kyrie balls out and everyone else plays like dog ***, or Kyrie looks like he needs to be benched and everyone else plays. They need to get back to more of their stuff going through Horford. That's works with any combination of players they have on the floor. Also if Morris is going to keep being such a difference maker he needs to be featured in larger chunk of their screen and roll action.
