Klay is the most clutch player in Golden State. Just like tonight, he's caught fire just at the right time to bring his team back into the game. That 2016 WCF is the prime example.

I'm curious to see the lineup for 76ers. Simmons-Reddick-Butler-Chandler-Embiid is one I would go with. That is great defensive lineup, while Reddick and Chandler providing space. They would have to figure out how they mesh together offensively. I just wouldn't start Fultz. He is starting to do other things well besides shooting/FT, but hurt their chances of winning now

I find that squinting helps when watching something gruesome or scary... but yeah, hopefully LeVert has a good recovery and bounces back from this.

Golden State is loaded with clutch players with Curry, Durant, Thompson, and Iguodala.

Curry is the most reliable clutch scorer of the lot due to his extraordinary handle, quickness, shooting range, and multiple release points.

Durant is number two simply for having the size and ability to shoot over his smaller defenders. He can begin his offensive foray in the middle of the court which opens up short/easy passes if he is doubled. His long-distance dialing has ticked down a bit though and his pass-work is slightly less reliable than Curry's.

Thompson would be number three in the pecking order for clutch shots. His quick release jumpers are deadly but his handle isn't very creative which allows defenders to load up an area on him. His pass-work is mediocre.

Caris LeVert has been diagnosed with a dislocated right foot that will not require surgery, and he is expected to return this season.

This qualifies as great news, considering the circumstances. When LeVert crumbled to the floor on Monday night, with his foot/ankle pointing the wrong way, it was assumed that he was dealing with a devastating injury that would sideline him for the entire 2018-19 season, and possibly beyond. However, per the Nets statement, there were no fractures and only moderate ligament damage and "(LeVert) is expected to return to full strength and resume all basketball activities without any limitations this season." We can expect an update on his status, with a firm timetable for his return, after LeVert leaves the hospital.

Fantastic news. The way he went down looked like he was going to be done for quite some time. Good to see he should be able to bounce back from this just fine.

Question I have for Pack, Nets fans. Do you even want him to come back this season? Considering there was "moderate" ligament damage done, would you prefer he just sit out the rest of the year and come back for training camp to ensure he's fully healed up and no risk at doing any further damage there or is this news that he can come back this season welcome news?

Crazy how the optics of something like this can be so bad....then some leg injuries guys can actually walk off the court with can be even more career altering...

KD would probably be the "most-clutch" player in the league if his shot selection wasn't so bad in those situations. Felt like he was nearly shooting them out of close games in the Houston series, and then of course when OKC had the 3-1 on Golden State. I mean when he makes them it looks beautiful, as a defender there isn't anything you can do with that length. But he takes too many deep shots, contested shots, early in the clock shots, non extra pass shots, all which aren't ideal.. Although that team as a whole lives and dies with a good chunk of those shots, and it usually works out for them.

I do feel like all 3 of those guys have a tendency to turn it up when they need it though. Klay seems to always be able to make big plays in big games whenever Curry/KD are out with injury or something. Some of those games he had a few years back when Curry missed those playoff games were huge. Then of course the huge game against OKC, another against Houston last year.

You could tell on the video replay that his knee looked to be fine, which gave me a little bit of hope. But the way his teammates were crying and everyone on the T-Wolves looked stunned, I thought his ankle had been completely shattered or he had a bone sticking out of his shin or something. He should recover from this and be 100% his old self. Just sucks for him that he was in such a good rhythm and playing so well, some guys never get back to that hot start even without injuries. Hopefully he can pick back up where he left off.
