The past two seasons now have felt like outliers to me. Especially the production some of these guys are having on winning teams. I mean they were just comparing last years draft to Bron’s draft, Kobe’s draft, etc. There isn’t anyone as exciting as Mitchell and maybe nobody does what Tatum did in last years playoffs, but this looks to be just as good/deep as that one.

Yeah, he’s just not starting. I think they like the stretch 4 line-up and that lets Bagley play the 4/5 either one off the bench. Seems like there’s no consistency with how many minutes/touches he gets game to game. But he’s productive with his minutes. 19 & 10 with 2 blocks per 36 on over 50% from the field.

I just feel like most drafts are like that. A few stars, and then a bunch of guys who contribute and play decent minutes somewhere. You think these last two drafts are better than 2011? Or 2015? (two draft years I just pulled up at random)

I think the 2014 draft is the best we’ve had recently. The year before didn’t show any value until Oladipo and Giannis made big steps up but even the second round in 2014 had Clarkson, Jokic, Dinwiddie, Jerami Grant in addition to Embiid in the first round, Lavine etc.

I do like the uprise in talent level in the last couple years though. I think we’re getting more NBA ready prospects coming up. Obviously though you can’t have a draft class stacked with HoFers every year like 2003, where four of the top five are NBA champions and sure fire hall of famers and the other one is Melo.

I need Monk to be more efficient. But this guy is the the ultimate microwave player.

The west is wild. How bout Tobias Harris the ultimate late bloomer.

The warriors aren't gonna win it all this year. Theres a major shakeup in NBA this year. I truly believe that.

2015 absolutely. KAT and Porzingod were great, but Russell under achieved in year 1, Okafor, Henzonja, WCS, Mudiay, Johnson, Frank, Winslow, all looked like they could be bust material in year one. Some of them are playing good now, but nothing like this years rookies or last years rookies as a whole in year 1.

2014 was pretty good, but Embiid didn’t even play. Wiggins/Parker were solid but underachieve their original expectations. Gordon, Exum, Smart, Randle, Stauskas, Vonleh, Payton, McDermott, all didn’t have strong rookie years. Dario didn’t come over yet, James Young was a bust, Payne was ok, Jokic didn’t play until the next season, etc.

2011 was good. Kyrie played well, Williams was a bust based on expectations, Kanter had a weak first year, Thompson was productive but didn’t play like a top 5 pick, or even a first round pick. JV didn’t play that season, Biyombo looked like a bust, Jimmer bust, Klay, Kemba, Knight, Kawhi, weren’t as good as a lot of guys in year 1 from this years and last years class..

So yeah, I think there is a pretty big difference honestly. Some of those guys got a lot better obviously, but just in terms of rookie production I don’t think they were really even all that close overall. Every class will have 2-3 guys, but when you start looking past that and have guys like Lauri last year and Jackson Jr this year, those are the type of players not every draft has. And it feels like both of these classes have had 5-6 of those guys, when someone like Wendell Carter for example might be the 9th-10th best rookie in the class and is much better in year one than Tristan Thompson for example.

No doubt that team runs through him. But idk Milwaukee is really good and it's not just Giannis . Its gonna be interesting. I'm also hoping it's a fresh new matchup in the finals this year. Please lol.

Lol Kawhi got his first tech last night...(regular season)

                      Pretty bad no call though...

That's one of the worst non calls I've ever seen. I feel like the Tech should be rescinded and the refs should get a reprimand instead.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

It was rough. Did they just think he opted to drop the ball mid air? Lol
