Regardless of any take, I definitely want to see playoff LeBron. If you really l just dont like the guy I can see why you'd be happy with it I guess....but I always want to see the top guys raise their game and compete...

Even with my disdain for the Lakers, I always wanted to see Kobe in the mix, or Dirk when the Dallas beef was real...same here.

I am definitely glad thay well have a non LBJ representative in the East for the first time in ages though...

Has nothing to do with a take.. Like Pack said its up to them and HIM.

If he just wants to chug along in the West, he aint gonna be there, so hopefully you enjoyed that all star game.

Other than that they still have an opportunity to make it, the season is still going on.

I'm just saying I personally wont feel like "worst playoffs ever" or any of that if he doesnt make it, I just want to see the best in the game compete...Like you say anytime Warrior fatigue comes up...just enjoyment of the game right?

Well see of they make it. If not, chances are we get to see a young Kings team play their heart out. It's all good...as long as my Spurs make it.

Defensive rating requires many multiplications of certain numbers and is totally bogus.

Defensive win shares requires more absurd calculations of similarly warped digits. If you want to know how good a defender is simply observe him for a full ballgame.

So, you've made me consult my game notes from the 16 Finals. My observations of LBJ's defense:

Game 1 : Turning head too much... too jumpy defending ball fakes... beaten off bounce by Harrison Barnes (who missed layup).

Game 2: Four steals... three deflections... two good pressures. Still turning head... getting burned.. layups allowed to Iggy and Green. Didn't box out Green and allowed layup. Switched lated onto Curry and Thompson and allowed two more buckets. Strayed too far from Green and allowed two three pointers.

Game 3: No real problems here. Hustling and generally belligerent.

Game 4: Again bullying and belligerent. Refs letting him mug Curry. Missed an easy baseline switch and allowed crucial layup to Curry.

Game 5: Super active. Curry had trouble creating space on him.

Game 6: Great team defense here. Hustling... in their shirts. Several good rips and pressures.

Game 7: Terrific off the ball defense. Hustling.

A plus defender but only for his off-the-ball defense or if he is hustling after a block.

This is amazing. You need a book and/or blog, sir.

His first 2 sentences were probably the most important part in the post too.

As far as the Lakers go, all the stats show that it’s the vets, not the young guys that are the problem. On/off numbers favor the young guys from what I’ve seen. But like Oj said, Luke trots out rotations that are complete ***, especially on defense and they thus get beat by teams they shouldn’t lose to.

I have never once felt cheated missing Mike Trout play baseball, period. Never mind in the postseason. Feel like the only ones that do are those determined to tell the rest of us how great Mike Trout is.

But this is a discussion for another forum.

Spurs playing zone... Nets have 3 straight 3's.... I think it's time to stop the zone

Remember when I said I hated the Boston color guy. I think Richard Jefferson has taken over in his place.

                          You're bugging, jeebs.

RJ has been cool this year. Definitely not a homer like who you're talking about in Boston, lol

Bruh Tommy Heinson is hard to beat. That guy is unashamedly biased, even though its funny, he's extreme as heck.
