I think this is a true outlook on the year as a whole, but right now LeBron doesn't look like himself. Whether it's the injury still bothering him, or his conditioning level from being out, or his lack of engagement from frustration, or all 3, whatever it may be right now he's not playing at 100% or the level he was when they were winning. He's not the only problem, but he's part of it if we are talking about how they look as of this moment.

Re: 2/21 - 2/26 Games Discussion Thread
That one was bad. This whole Lebron dosnt play defense and him being toxic I am sick of hearing about though. He may not be the defensive player he used to be but he is still an above average defender and defense takes a full team being on the same page to do. Kobe wasn't the same type of defender either after like 30 years old or so either. Lebron is not toxic and is not the reason the lakers are sucking. Bad coaching is killing them Walton's rotations are like beyond a joke should have been let go already. The team has had a lot of injures, up and down play like even before they really started to fall down. They have now lost to a Pelicans team with out AD, Grizzles, Hawks, Cavs, Bulls, Knicks. Those are 6 really bad losses I understand that that even good teams at times can have a bad lose as no game is like 100% a for sure win that is why you play the game but if they where just 500 in those 6 games at 3-3 instead of 0-6 things would look a lot better. Team cant make foul shoots and that is not just Lebron but like ever one if they where just like a average foul shooting team they would have I think around 5 more wins. With the up and down play there have been like 5 times they had a good win to only then come back and lose vs a crappy team the next game. The whole people not wanting to play with James is stupid people said the same thing with Kobe and over the last like 5+ years lakers where supposed to get like 20 all star players and got no one and James has only been there this year not the last like 5+. People dont trust the lakers management and after like 2010 or so lakers management has just made like one stupid move after another.
James dosnt really throw teammates under the bus over all and what he said is true and if Kobe was like there and called the team soft people wouldn't be saying Kobe is being a bad teammate but when James says what is true people say he is being a bad teammate. The trade stuff with AD did seem to hurt the lakers but those players need to get over it trade rumors and such are part of the game and even the AD thing is like another example of crappy management by the lakers in that they where going to give up like ever thing so they could have James and AD with like nothing else around it instead of just like keeping the young guys and trying to add some one this offseasons. I was hoping lakers could make the playoffs because I dont want to hear people being so hard on James and would like the young guys to get playoff experience but at the same time may be better to miss the playoffs so they can get a higher draft pick. With the draft though who knowns lakers management may screw that up to. People saying the James screwed the lakers up is funny yes they improved last year compared to the year before but they where still not a playoff team and considering they lost Lopez and Randall in the offseason out side of like getting James the team has less talent on the roster then the year before.
Sounds like a bunch of excuses for LBJ. At some point the players need to play. And competing against some of the worst top 5 teams in the NBA isn't asking for much. LeBron needs to leave it all on the floor, and I think his teammates would follow suit. Since he's not and they feel like they are rental pieces, why would they fight as hard as they could if he's not?
Have you watched the full games of Hawks, Pelicans & Memphis? His mentality sucks along with the rest of em. I'm embarassed to say this, but Kuz body language has been more redeeming then Bron Bron's.Comment

Sixers looked good with Embiid lately, y’all. Same with Trae Young looking good too.
Oh I didn’t say we were a finished product yet. Right now, we’re looking like Young Marlo in Season 3 of The Wire. And we see how he turned out going forward, lol.Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 02-26-2019, 12:21 PM.#RespectTheCultureComment

I like LeBron, but if I were his teammate I would tell him: shut the **** up.
What is he going to do? They are all out anyway.Last edited by Master Live 013; 02-26-2019, 01:47 PM.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Just playing devil's advocate, that thing with his hands could be anything. The guy he left open was a 29% 3 point shooter. His reaction could've been anything like a "come on man, are you f'n serious this guy made that shot" reaction. He has a high IQ and that was clearly his assignment, so I really doubt he's blaming someone else on that play. He made a lazy choice, played the averages and lost. He has no one to blame on that play but himself, so I doubt he's mad at anyone but himself on that play.Comment

**** LeBron and his passive aggressive *** bull****.
I had more fun the past years watching my team with zero expectations suck and having fun out there together just playing ball.
This guy got some damn nerves to keep throwing players under the bus when he's the one that looks like he isn't giving his all. If he's injured and frustrated maybe he needs to not play, if he insists on playing then just shut his damn mouth and play ball stop going to the media with the bs after every loss.
I sincerely hope this team doesn't luck into a playoff spot at allHorseshoes & HollyWoodComment

Found this full look at that play. That definitely wasn't a transition three and I saw some guys in the Twitter comments trying to defend the play as the Lakers being in a 2-3 zone. They were pretty clearly matched up in man and LeBron just started backing down into the paint. Kuz and Ingram were in the pick and roll there. Kuz can share some blame as he was late picking his guy back up rolling to the basket because of whatever he was doing on the pass. LeBron made ZERO effort whatsoever to close out once that pass was being made.
If that wasn't bad enough, more from that game below...
That's brutal effort as the leader of the team who's taking shots at guys through the media. You can't fix issues your team is having if they look at you and don't see you giving the same as you're asking, especially if they think you're showing them up and airing them out in public.Comment

I don’t think anybody is acting like it’s 100% LeBron at all. People have acknowledged what this roster is from the time LeBron signed and all of these guys’ shortcomings and injuries have been talked about to death throughout this season. The only reason LeBron is being called out so much right now is because he’s the guy running his mouth in the media about it and people are rightly reminding him not to throw stones in that glass house he’s currently in.

Re: 2/21 - 2/26 Games Discussion Thread
Don't know why anyone would interpret that as a shot at Kuzma or Ingram considering they're the only two on the team doing a damn thing. It's the vets that are playing like garbage, so if he was calling out anyone, it would be them. Rondo, KCP, Lance in particular. Maybe Josh Hart but the consensus seems to be that he's playing injured.Comment
