some more speculation that Atlanta could get involved in the Heat / 76ers drama and take Myles Leonard back and get a pick. Atlanta has 14 million in cap space and a need at C and he makes 11 million and is a expiring contract.

Man that would be a great move for Atlanta.. Even more shooting good lord.. I think Leonard could have a great year in a bigger role also.

Man if you can get defense from elsewhere Kanter is still a really good player to have for everything else. Solid back up center for a team that starts a defensive rim-runner type.

You realize at this point, since there's not much left out there, the Lakers are probably a mid-seed team at best if they don't land Kawhi, right?

Um. Yea. That's why I said I'd want Kawhi in my post. Don't see how that was missed. Lol

But I guess you and I are on different pages though. So that's understandable. You're a fan of a player. And im a fan of the Lakers AND the entire league.

So while I would be excited about the Lakers getting Kawhi...I will be just as excited if he signed elsewhere.

Having competitive teams up and down both conferences would be so dope and lead to some fun basketball all year long.

It's the only reason he's in the league still.

Even this year... His defense was much improved.... But it's was still bad

Yea its a match made in heaven with his shooting and he could battle with Alex Len for the starting job. The FA market is drying up so even if its only a 2nd round pick or two I would do it. The other main option going around is throwing $ at Kevin Looney.

Basically how I feel.. Not so much from purely a Lakers standpoint, but seeing LeBron go out on a good team rather than fade off on a bad one is ideal for me.. But like you said, I'd be down with him going elsewhere and having a really competitive season next year... Preferably not the Clippers though.
