Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Can we admit that maybe all those Woj/Ballmar rumors was true? We got KD/Kawhi teaming up, then Jimmy/Kawhi etc. All of that seemed to fizzle out immediately, hell even the Kawhi/LAC news did.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Why don’t nobody call out James Dolan clearly paying people to talk about the Knicks for the last 30 years? Cause clearly free agents don’t give a **** about trying to sign there.

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
KD and Kawhi might go to the Clippers
Kawhi and Jimmy want to team up on the Clippers
Clippers didn’t even have the money for any of this stuff without getting rid of Gallo, Bev, not sure on Lou..
Then we were led to believe SGA, Jimmy, Kawhi, Harrell, Zubac would be better than Rondo, Kawhi, LeBron, Kuzma, AD..

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
You know damn well Screaming A and ESPN don’t be the only ones slurping the Knicks all the time. He sure as hell was not the only one pushing KD to the Knicks for the last 2 years. Nor was he the only one pushing LeBron going there back in 2010.
Regardless I have never seen so much talk about some owner/franchise paying reporters to talk about them like this Ballmer/Woj drivel we’ve had to sit through throughout this entire process.
It’s the circle of NBA life for those of us non-blessed franchises. The Clippers have a nice little core of players with upside and potential to be something really good and are in a market that allegedly everybody wants to be in/live in during the offseason any way. They have a coach who is respected by players and the stain of the previous owner is long gone. It’s not a mystery why they may intrigue free agents. Teams like that always get a seat at the table. That’s how the Nets got there, that’s why the Bulls were getting added to lists and getting sit downs and apparently real consideration (allegedly). Nobody was talking about Jerry paying for coverage. Nobody was saying Micky Arison was paying for coverage when the big 3 were linked to Miami. But for some reason somebody mentions the Clippers have a meeting or would be a decent landing spot and all hell breaks loose as if it’s impossible for someone to even think of playing for the Clippers.
