Never disappointing with the hyperbole around this time of the year.

      From Jabari Young

You know the Philly native who covers news for the Spurs who was actually in contact with Kawhi and telling his side of the story that everybody ignored

On the Kawhi front, told he’s not making a decision tonight and it may not be until the next few days. He and his reps are going through the process and taking their time before deciding the next move. No 2-year deals have been discussed. #NBA @TheAthleticNBA

"Amar’e Stoudemire and Monta Ellis will workout privately for at least five NBA teams from 6-7pm — in Las Vegas — on July 8, a source tells ESPN. Both players are healthy and hoping to sign with a contending team, such as the #Lakers." per Jordan Schultz

Would love to see Amar’e back and healthy enough to compete. Was always sad seeing him go downhill the way he did.

Neto is actually a pretty solid backup, our main issue with him was his health. He really wasn't that much more available than Exum was, but when he was healthy he was a really good, scrappy guard who can shoot threes and play average defense. I think he'll be a good fit with the Sixers since he likely won't have the ball in his hands a ton, he can just focus on spacing the floor for Ben and Embiid.

In order to make the Bogdanovic and Davis signings to happen, we had to decline Neto's option, he was in the waiver wire though I'm not sure that is what Philly did in this case.

Danny Green one of those. The fact that he's basically just waiting, putting stuff out there and even saying who the faves are, you know he wants to decide already before some team says no.

Raptors will keep him if Kawhi stays, I think Lakers probably sign him too(although if Korver or Iggy go there, they might not be able to afford Green if Kawhi goes), but will Mavs wait around?

Lakers might as well just turn the Big 3 into the Lakers tournament. Winning Big 3 team earns Lakers contract.

I think this shot pretty much sums up Monroe's playoffs...

                      Lol, as if.

That'd be like saying the only reason you didn't ask the really hot girl out on a date because you didn't want to blow your chances at going on a date with others.

So the Knicks should’ve sat around waiting for Kawhi’s decision knowing full well he wouldn’t be signing here without another star and have an empty roster and the most cap room in the league for what exactly?

                      LolZ kNicKz though.

I mean I guess we deserve it for being a losing franchise for years but..it was the right decision.

The Knicks brass also were in LA when KD was in NY on his decision day. They knew he wasn’t signing here so again..why waste the time meeting the guy?

I don't think NY had a chance of getting Kawhi despite what others say. If he's leaving Toronto, he's going home.

Neither did the front office which is why they cancelled the meeting.

Don't know if anybody has spoke on this or not but

The Lakers are the best choice for Kawhi short and long term

When LeBron retires He'll still have AD there and a more mature/polished/experienced Kuzma and they will mostly be Championship bound every year

He can possibly get 2 more max contracts (Now and another 4-5 years later)

He will be in LA where he wants to be and the money and branding opportunities that will come with being in LA

And Last but not least it's the LAKERS!! Winning with the Lakers will hold more prestige then winning with the Clippers or Raptors(not that much tho since Raptors are in another country)
                              LOUISVILLE
                              Ali/Mayweather
                              Eagles

                              BRON IS THE GOAT!!

If Kawhi takes the 1+1 with Toronto then this might be the most competitive season ever
