James Harden:
In a Q&A session Friday with young fans at a promotional event attended by local Houston media, Harden said he will be working on an another move this summer and it will "look like it's a travel. But it's not."Jordan Mychal Lemos
@crypticjordan
Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever. -

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Reminds me of the recent Giannis video where he told some guys his move isnt a travel , then demonstrated it, but it was a travel

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Giannis is right though, and often the reason Harden gets away with some head scratchers. NBA refs cant start calling travels for steps taken while the ball has yet to be gathered, if they do they would have to start calling stutter steps where guys take 4-5 small steps between dribbles as a travel as well..
It’s a cheap exploit, but it’s also smart.. the league allows a free gather step, and they also allow players to pause dribbles at the top.. they can’t be mad that some players have figured out a way to sneak 2-3 steps into that pause before even gathering the ball and then taking their real two steps.. they could start calling that, but players know they won’t because that means they have to start basically re-writing their own rules.. which they won’t do on the fly mid-season anyways.
Only certain players really utilize it, and even practice something so gimmicky.. but if you for example look at player who stutter steps at the top of his dribble and then takes another dribble, this is the same principal.. only instead of putting the dribble back down they are gathering after a “stutter”.
To me the Giannis euro-step isn’t nearly as bad as him palming the ball so badly at the top of nearly all of his half-court dribbles. I know his hands are huge, but the ball seems to stick at the top of every dribble he takes that isn’t on the move.

Breaking news:
League source confirms the reports that Kyle Korver will be joining the Bucks on a minimum contract and Frank Mason III will be signed to a two-way contract.
Oh wait..............lol
Saw a pic earlier in the week Korver and Greek Freak working out together. Maybe Korver can show Giannis a thing or two in 3 pt land.Comment
