That team may not be great this year but hey they could get lucky again, get someone like Wiseman next year and then boom, they could be a problem. They got a bright future for sure.

Look, this is what should of happen during the regular season. But people got butt hurt and leak this, leak that. Stupid stupid [emoji36].... This whole situation should of been over in about an hour. The Celtics deal with the don't worry we'll have a better deal just wait. By far the most ridiculous situation in the NBA. To the point that NOLA wouldn't play the man in the fourth quarter of games because he was forced by the NBA.

Pelicans hit a home run. That's how you rebuild after losing your franchise player.

Meanwhile Lakers have lots of work to do, need to hope they can land either Kyrie or Kemba, possible try to pull Brogdon away from Milwaukee? or Kawhi if he has the slightest desire in LAL which I doubt.

They also desperately need a big man and an entire bench, lol

Just glad the Knicks didnt give up the #3 pick (or maybe they tried and were denied, IDK)

Never underestimate the ability of an NBA franchise to **** things up.

The best thing for all the former Laker players. Is that it's the same exact system they played in other Luke. And they reunion with Randle. Who they never should of got rid for James. What a bad move [emoji1787][emoji26]

Anyways, Lakers made this trade at the right time. If there's any chance at luring FAs in light of the front office clown show, Lebron + AD is it.

If this years draft was a slightly better draft, and if at least one of those other picks wasn't guaranteed to be wayyy back in the round, they would have won this trade by good margin IMO..

It's rare teams get equal value back for a superstar. I think they got pretty close here. Not in terms of any one player being anywhere near AD, but all 3 of those guys are starting level players, BI will at some point be an All-Star when he's done being trash (joke), and they got 3 firsts one being top 4.

they kept Kuzma! so they still get to hype him up like he's any good. But he's probably going to be in a much better role now.

Once Kyrie was going to Brookyln there's no way you include Tatum and that basically sealed the deal on who was going to get AD.

Hate to give up so much but I feel like AD is just too good of a player .

But lakers have so much work to do

Imo that would be a great move for Kemba. He needs to get out of Charlotte. If he's not getting some big money there, then he might as well get in a potential title contention spot.

I think they definitely don't need to use every bit of left over cap on one of the those two IMO.

Brogdon would be great, but likely not at the price.

To me if I were in the GM's shoes, Kawhi is the only player I would try to land and have zero money left.

I'm betting their starting front court is Bron-Kuz-AD, any big man will likely be back up bigs. They also still have Wagner, Bogna Jones under contract, and rights to KCP, Muscala, Bullock, Caruso, Williams.. Though I'm sure they will renounce the rights to most of them to build a better bench than that would be.

I don't know, with KD and Klay being out, I think they are going to go all in this season and break the bank on whoever's left. They can't afford to pinch pennies when there are plenty of other teams out there that can offer lucrative contracts.
