so then how are they doing so good stat wise, obviously they are doing something right
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Dude is unstoppable when he's facing, but thats pretty much it. He's got a ton of potential, but he's got a long way to go before he can match KG's passing, inside/outside game, D, or leadership. Having a little dervish like Nash doesnt hurt.

Plus Amare is going to be known as a C, not a PF when its all done..he's already 7'0 and possibly growing. I think he's gonna' be the alpha male for that position in the near future...not that softy Yao.

He's listed at 6'10" but so is Gooden...I watched bothe Suns/Cavs games and he was clearly taller than Drew. I also heard one of the broadcasters refer to him as being really quick for a 7-footer, but who knows? Maybe Gooden is lying about his height.

They all lie about their height these days. You really don't think Allen Iverson is 6'0 do you?

his post game is pretty average also. He is a beast no doubt, but i dont see him joining TD, or KG any time soon.

Umm, KG didn't average 10 boards a game his third year at the same age.

I think KG has more versatility however Amare is rapidly improving and the sky is the limit.

Limited low post moves yet is averaging 26.6. I'll take that and him over Okafor

Re: Will Amare be BETTER than Garnett?

He's a got a long way to go before he's on KG or Duncans level. Right now, he's playing great but he's not even on Jermaine Oneal's level yet and Jermaine is right on the brink of the KG, Tim Duncan level.

Like McCoy said, Amare has to get a back to the basket game, rebound like those guys, make his teammates better like those guys do, and be the defender that those guys are. Those guys can also step out and consistently hit those midrange jumpers. Right now, he's benefiting from playing with Steve Nash and that uptempo game. Half of his points are dunks. 28 of his 51 points were off dunks and being set up by his teammates. Unlike Oneal's 55 where they were all pretty much from his low post game. Those guys have also proven their worth in the playoffs, something which Amare hasnt had a chance to do yet.

So, just give him some time, he'll get there.
