oh I see.. so you want them to actually "say it" although you've most likely seen it with your own 2 eyes?

Wow we are very selective arent we?

It's not always apparent when you assume just by watching. Tim Dunca looks like he couldnt care less about the game at hand. Thats just their demeaner and he probably cares greatly.(maybe he doesnt I dont know personally).

all I'm saying is its hard to tell wether a person is trying hard or not, among other things. Bust when Mac comes out and says he didnt try his hardest and he tried to save his own image by winning the scoring title, well then it's a whole new ballgame.

Assume and actually seeing it are two different things.

Coming into camp out of shape 2 or 3 years in a row, is that any different?

How about not shooting at all in important games?

What about even taking 40 shots purposely knowing full well it was wrong?

Playing half heartedly because you dont have an extension signed?

Its some of those things and many more, which has nothing to do with a look on a mans face.

There is no new ballgame... they are all in th wrong for it, no matter what the personal reasons are. You just seem to want to be selective in what you see.

And for all for all of those instances, the players were bashed for them accordingly.

But read what McGrady says. He says he KNOWS it was terrible, and he still did it,

I commend him for admitting his faults. It doesnt make him a bad person at all. But he should have gone about it differently, especially since he knew it was such a wrong thing to do. but people make mistakes. The one thing that doesnt sit well with me is him saying he chased the scoring title just to save his image. Sadly coming out and admitting this might do more harm to his image than the scoring title did to help it.

In relation to Kobe, what Tmac did is peanuts. Dismantling a team b/c you can't get along with shaq? Do you know how many guards would bow down before Shaq and kiss his feet just for the chance to win titles and have an easy time b/c you can't double them when shaq requires entire defenses to focus on him?

And in relation to the 9-11 attacks, me killing all of my co-workers when I walk into work today is peanuts, doesnt make it right.

But we've talked about Kobe time and time again, and this thread isnt even about him. why dont you talk about what McGrady did?

I dont understand your infatuation with Kobe. You talk about him non-stop. Even in threads un-related to him.

He is just the only one to be honest enough to admit it. He said I know I did it, I feel bad, I've learned, I wont handle that way again, and he's playing different, and I agree that he was out of line.

One the same note, the others being bashed didnt come from you like you are trying to bash tracy, because as you say
When I hear them come out and say it I'll form an opinion on it
Now there is some selective thought for you right there. None of those others will ever have the gall to come out and say hey, I was wrong I want to change that about me, I'm working on it now..

So although you KNOW they did the same thing you selectively reserve an opinion because they didn't openly say what you and I both know they did..

I made the comment about forming an opinion before you brought up those instances. Meaning, that I didnt know which instances you may have been referring to, meaning I didnt form an opinion on them.

And I did bash the players for the instances you stated above
